Stupid history. The fact that it never goes away makes life so inconvenient.

When the obstructionists get out the way and let the clean up complete.

    Really.... History over team politics.

That's something the GOP should have been doing years ago but no they put the blame else where.

remember when Newt and Clinton passed a balanced budget?

Obama wouldn't go near such a thing.

That, despite historic republican obstruction, we re-elected the most successful, hardworking and dedicated president in decades.

I really wasn't thinking much about the inauguration but now reading all the bellyaching from our conservative posters I am starting to enjoy it.

In a way, I wish they would have passed on the pomp and circumstance. He could have done a tv address tonight and saved millions in costs. I voted for President Obama both times and am happy he's been re-elected. I'm looking forward to 4 more years of progress from the enormous hole created from the previous administration.

Screw the complaining. Sour grapes and what's the point? As I stated in an earlier post, I didn't vote for the President but I am excited to see what the next 4 years hold. The celebrations after the elections were invigorating. I live just south of DC and went to a mall on Saturday. Tons of people in town for the event.

This last race brought out the ugly from so many of us, myself included. It's done and I'm glad. Today is a day to celebrate OUR country. The things that unite us. You know, like that one fellow who the country also chooses to remember annually on this day referenced.

    Edit: Wanted to add this:

    Very exciting time!

No mention of Martin Luther King, seriously? Americans really make me laugh with their "God bless us" (and no place else :p)
