congressman donalds is the one that presented the faked text message... amazing how someone is so into trump that he would do that at a congressional hearing.
They don't even have any credible witness LOL. Their main witness said today he can't think of a single crime committed. The sad part is dip **** morons like Joe Rogan have his enablers like @AroundTheWorld who spin disinformation
Oh my gosh... she even warned him it was a doctored message, yet he looked so please with himself to continue reading it...
Didn’t the GOP lose their shyte when Adam Schiff made a rhetorical dramatization of Trump? Yet now they are trying to enter into evidence a false email?
this is so embarrassing The 60+ L’s in court and the Dominion lawsuit should’ve made them realize that conspiracies and rumors originating from the dumbest people online don’t hold any basis in the real world.
How u got your own witnesses destroying your case? imagine your lawyer bringing a witness to the stand to aid in your defense, and all the witness does is make u look even more guilty…that’s the republican party every single day it seems
Fabricated evidence is allowed because Congressmen and committee members are not under oath. Learn something new today.
Somehow I get the feeling that Republicans felt that they could just make an impeachment inquiry and magically just impeach without any evidence. When you get people of incompetence and ignorance into Congress, this is what happens to the system. Did the founding fathers have any fail safe against this?
The fail safe is the Senate. The founders wants the House to be closer to the people which is why there are so many and why they stand for election every two years. They also distrusted the people though and feared that many elected reps would demagogues driven by passions of the moment. The Senators weren’t even directly elected initially and with longer terms were meant to consider issues more deeply. The bar to removal from office was also set very high in the Senate.
This is an huge problem right now that so much of our politics are driven by outrage and grievance that is easily spread online. That has led to election of politicians who embody that.
Great points. In addition, the Senate has always been seen as "the upper house". And members of the senate seem to respect a more collegial approach to working with each other for the people of the United States. Sure, there are exceptions, but for the most part there is a greater respect for the institution and role they have.
For folks ridiculing and pointing out how weak this event was to sling mud at biden in an attempt to impeach him, i think the GOP accomplished one of their goals. They just needed a trigger word and the implication of misdeed to rile up and create distrust amongst the uneducated republicans and independents. Hell even some of our more educated gop/conservative posters are thinking biden is corrupt. Imagine filing articles of impeachment for joe biden jan 21, about 2 weeks after jan 6. Rep Moskowitz describes it best this was Republicans trying their best to win the Donald trump's friend Olympics
