I work with white guys named Dwayne and Damon. And I have a white neighbor that is named Dalinda. Its not always black people with black sounding names... I went to high school with a guy named Stephon, but he was black...

I know a white woman named Lanika.

I know a young black girl named Raynesha, her father's name is Ray.

They don't get into last names, those can be just as much fun.

a lot of 'black' names are derided from eastern european names. for example, dushan is a very common name in serbia, and there are alot of 'deshawn' names floating around....stefan and stephon, etc

i hope i have two boys, because i am giving them the best names of all time: cash and carter. its either that or tupac and biggie, but i think cash and carter works better

Dwayne is one of holiest of all white trash names. It actually combines THE 2 most influential WTN's - Dale and Wayne.

Yeah, but Wade is the only one I've seen where the 'y' is before the 'a'. And it's still pronounced the same?
Also, I have a friend who's cousin is a doctor. He once had a patient who's name was Vagina. And he was like... um, how are you today Vagina? And she got pissed and was like, 'my name is Vah-gee-nah'. LOL

When I see the name Kyle, I think son of an Aggie.

When I see Ricky, Dale, or Bobby I think son of a NASCAR fan.

When I see Lance, Damon or Adrian, I think parents who already know their son will be gay.

Names you don't see anymore: Cain, Judas, Saul, Pontius, Adolf, Napoleon, Fidel, Attila and Benedict.

I know this thread is about first names, but at work I had the chance to call a doctor whose last name was Fear.

Dr. Fear is not the name of a person whom I want to get my yearly check ups from. I dont know maybe its just me.

This study was actually done by Steven Levitt, and is talked about in great detail in the book Freakonomics. Great book - easy reading and very interesting.
