Born on Wednesday 8/24 at 7:50 and 7:51 a.m. respectively. We came home from the hospital on Saturday. "Clyde and Hakeem" and Mom are doing great. I, on the other hand, am totally overwhelmed -- but in a good way. Man, our first night home was an experience.... crying babies waking us up every 10 minutes. That was Saturday. Last night was much better. They only woke us up about every 45 minutes or so... I'm off for another 2 weeks, so I won't be posting much but I'll be back just in time for football season! Man, I tell you....it was a LONG road getting here. Those here who know our history know this wasn't a typical pregnancy. I can't believe we made it through everything we've been through since 01/09 to where we are today. We experienced things I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. But we endured, made it through and ended up becoming stronger for it. Now everything is just golden. Just unbelievable. I know this is going to be one wild ride, but I can honestly say that I have never been more happy and content with my life than I am at this very moment. That's a pretty cool feeling. Gotta go....baby crying downstairs....
Wait, are they really named Clyde and Hakeem? If so, I think you deserve a trophy. Congratulations, by the way... those first couple of weeks are really crazy... Glad to see everything worked out for you and your wife.
man, i'm so happy for you and your wife (and the rest of your families). not only am i also a new dad (best thing ever), i know the pain you went through and also got to see my sister experience the joy y'all are now. congrats again man!!
Way to go! Document the crap out of year 1 - you'll be so sleep deprived you'll forget most of it. And MAN do they go from newborns to toddlers rapidly.
So happy for you man. Not gonna lie, I smiled seeing the thread title. Best of luck with the kids. Enjoy yourself and your time; time really starts to fly once you have children, I've noticed.

Congrats and if your wife really let you name your kids Clyde and Hakeem you've got a good woman there.
congrats! parenthood is definitely a wild and crazy (and exhausting!) ride. hang on. #2 is on the way for us. my sister has 5 year old twins, and its definitely crazier than just the 17 month old we have... BUT, sometimes I definitely think two at once, while more exhausting while it happens, gets you past all those milestones simultaneously.
