    Come on. We are the champions if we got those two players.

    Trade: Tabeet, Scola, T-will, Brad miller, etc.

    I still don't understand all the Van Gundy Lovers on this board. Don't they realize most of the reason he was successful won a title with the Celtics a few years ago and is now Coaching the No 1 seed in the East Chicago Bulls. Thibadeaux was the reason we were good when Van Dummy was here. His defense. The same one that won in Boston, the same one winning in Chicago, the same one that won here.

    Why does everyone think we will get Dwight? He is the best center in the league and i'm sure EVERY team in the NBA wants him, why would he choose Houston? He obviously likes to be in front of the camera, behind big lights with a lot of attention...Somewhere like NY or LA...

    Even if we trade for him in HOPES that he will stay here, what do we really have to offer him?

    Wait, I think I understand what's going on here. You want to trade all of our scrubs for Dwight Howard, so not only do we strengthen the starting 5, we also get rid of our scrubs! :eek::eek::eek: Why hasn't anyone else ever thought of doing something like this?? :confused:

    I think our best chance is stealing the players talents like the Monstars did in Space Jam.

    I feel that if Jordan Hill steals Amare's talent, Scola steals Ben Wallace's defense, Budinger steals talents from LeBron James, and Goran steals Steve Nash's talent we have a fairly solid team. Check it out guys, and tell me what you think.

    Hill (Amare) / Hayes / Thabeet
    Scola (w/ Ben Wallace D) / Patterson
    Budinger (basically Lebron) / Courtney Lee / T Will
    Martin / Lee
    Dragic (basically Nash) / Lowry

    Looks like a pretty solid team. Get er done Morey!

    'Cause most of the rest of us have a basic understanding that...

    1) There is as yet no CBA for any season beyond the current
    2) Every CBA has some salary matching requirements for a trade
    3) The Rockets do not operate in a vacuum where they are the only team competing for talent
    4) The likelihood of wet dreams becoming realities

    The operative word there being "most"...
