    But since you brought it...

JVG = 2 playoff appearances (and one Finals appearance) from 1999-00 to 2002-03.

    Rudy = 0 playoff appearances from 1999-00 to 2002-03.

Scoreboard Van Gundy +2 ...and counting.

Too early for 'Love' and "Hate' JVG thread. Pls be wise.

But, I like his coaching attitude, so far.

I support anybody's trying to change our guard's play of the past 4 years. We need JVG to play it hard to our players.

I support all of the Rockets coaches and players. I am what they call a "fan."

Owners and management might be a different story though...

JVG is exactly what we need at this point, maybe these players need somebody like him to mature. I like his in the face attitude, at least he shares our pain when rox make boneheaded plays, u gotta like that. But its too premature to evaluate this team, wait til midseason form to make a validated opinion, or at least 30 regular season games. GO JVG! Francis and Mobley listen for once.

Gator..ummm. honestly you must be joking. Rudy has taken on a rebuilding process during that entire time you referenced. How about looking at the total picture. Rudy took at team all the way back to back. JVG hasn't and he did the worst thing a Coach can do, quit on his team mid season.

I know there are some growing pains now, but as soon as everyone gets comfortable with the new system and follows JVG, we'll be alright...

I love what he brings to the Rox and think he did the right thing to call the team out, especially the "Franchise" as he needs to step it up and lead...

I am in, we are 4 games into the preseason and people are acting like it is March. I say give him time, our starters aren't playing major minutes, so I say give him time.

Yep! He need more than four matches to change the team.
The team need change and I support Van Gundy.

People were patiently waiting for good results with Rudy for four years. I think that Van Gundy need at least one season before anyone should hate him.

Dude you know with a username like that everyone is picturing that dude Azrael played by Chris Kattan on SNL. I can just see you in your little Goth outfit.

The season has not even started. Give the coach some time to show the results. With all the new players, coaches, and systems, it wouldn't be easy for everyone to respond to the change.

    I Support "JVG" Thread !!!!!!!!!!!

I’m very upset to see after not making the playoffs with so much talent that when a person comes in to change things around some people get all jumpyy ?? JVG is what this team has been waiting for whether steve, cat, or anyone else thinks other wise because if these guys kno it or not he will make them better as players on the floor, sure they will score a little less but that’s not the point we will WIN !!!! & that alone will make them much better players. & tha man to take us to the promise land is no other than JVG !!!!!!!!!!! His discipline and strong authority is just what the Dr. ordered for our young and talented Houston Rockets ……………
-Thanks thats all i gota say about that
