OKay, he is way better on the court and way worse of the court

T-Mac had worse attitude than for example Stojakovic but they were on different levels when it comes to the game

He has no idea how to play off the ball and he acts like a jackass when he doesn't know what to do game. He has major (I hate this phrase) basketball IQ issues.

The Blazer team had somebody named Clyde Drexler who got alot of minutes.
The Blazers went the NBA Finals in his rookie year of 00.

When Petrovic got traded to New Jersey, he got alot of playing time.

When T-Will got traded to the Rockets, he got the pine... And I'm pretty sure there's a reason for that.

Can we trade them for the #2, #6, #8, #11 and #44 in the 2012 draft?

This is laughable, TWill has not proven anything yet, CBud at least we know can play.

We now have the #2, #6, #8, and #11 lotto picks from 2009.

Now he needs to do a jedi mind trick with the Clips and flip them all for the #1 pick of 2009.

That's a lot of unfulfilled potential that could pay off big. Yet people complain that Morey doesn't gamble.

It just tells me how amazing it is that DM keeps picking up discarded garbage and thinks we are heading in the right direction.

Actually the rest of top 10 from 2009 don't look bad.

    It's quite simple. Two reasons.

    1. Many other teams believe that if a player doesn't improve in 2 years, then they're worthless. Morey believes that a player can develop later in his career. So that even if he's not an instant contributor, it doesn't mean he'll never be one.

    2. Morey no has top 10 picks. If you don't have top 10 picks, you can't pick up top 10 players when they're new and shiny, only when they're older and discarded like trash.

They're all team option next year so they can be considered as expiring contract. Basically they're good trade assets for teams that want cap relief. Plus if one actually does pan out Morey will look like a genius.

If he's not trembling in fear over missing his wide-open three pointers that is. I love Chase, but that insanely long stretch of games where he bricked near everything was a disgrace to shooters worldwide.

    Morey's low cost lottery strategy

We now have 4 lottery picks from the top 11 in 2009. The other 7 players are star/near star players already.

We essentially paid very little for them. But if only one of them lives up to his potential(25% chance, yes), Morey's strategy will be proved huge success.

Imagine if you trade for a proven young all star, how much would you have to pay? Multiple unprotected first round picks and good cheap role players...Kevin Martin alone will not get it done for sure(we are talking about that for #2 in a weak draft this year, and it may not work because Derrick Williams may not pan out).

I hope it'll work, and that's what Les/Morey/Mchale are betting on as well.

    There's a reason for that.

    Hill: bust
T-will: a lot of talent, just an arrogant idiot.
Thabeet: bust. If we're lucky, he will be serviceable off the bench.
Flynn: Not ready to give him the bust label yet. His style of game wasn't working for the Triangle Offense. He has a lot to prove to everyone.
