What is up with Morey and the 2009 Draft. It seems that he has a slight obession with the 2009 draft players??

Currently we have the following players for the 2009 draft.

DeMarre Carroll (1st rd 27th pick)
Jordan Hill (1st rd 8th pick)
    Chase Budinger (2nd 14th pick)
Hasheem Thabeet (1st rd 2nd pick)
Terence Williams (1st rd 11th pick)

Our current team is basically the whole 2009 draft......

Petition to rename the Rockets to the Houston Niners

PG Jonny Flynn (2009 #6 overall)
SG Terrence Williams (2009 #11 overall)
SF Chase Budinger (2009 #44 overall)
PF Jordan Hill (2009 #8 overall)
    C Hasheem Thabeet (2009 #2 overall)

Has a team ever acquired this many lotto picks only 2 seasons after those players were drafted?

And isn't it amazing Morey drafted the best player out of those 5 at #44?

T-Will is way better basketball player than Bud no doubt, but his attitude is %#$%@@# at best

Assuming MM eventually starts over Chase. They are actually all 3rd string except Chase.

Is he? I didn't know playing out of control and taking horrible shots that he couldn't make if no one was guarding him made him a better basketball player.

You mean like...hypothetically a better basketball player, but not in reality?

What do you meab hypothetically? He was much better in college, he was much better in SL, he was much better in his first NBA season.

The fact that Rick didn't want him to play doesn't make him worse player than he is. Gerald Wallace and Drazen Petrovic proved it earlier

Are you guys so scared to play the young players? Jesus dude, we're going NOWHERE for the next couple of seasons. I don't care if Daryl and Les said some BS about not having a losing season. Uhh, we're going to have a losing season and if we keep doing this "just missed the playoffs" bull**** every season and never get a lottery pick again, I'm going to extremely pissed.

Two roads to success: Tank and get a good player in the draft, or build up and trade for a superstar and be a contender. Rockets are following neither and its making me sick.

If McHale doesn't play T-Will and Thabeet, then that confirms they suck.

Part of what makes you a "better" basketball player is your attitude, so I wholey disagree with your statement.
