I had hoped doing bankruptcies for the medically destitute would lead to some increased awareness to counteract the conservative talking points.
Laying aside that this is an pretty shortsighted/biased assessment, you are opting for the alternative in the name of fiscal responsibility, who want to spend 2 trillion more on defense...and then cut taxes for high income earners by 5 trillion. Not sure how people can do that with a straight face.
Anyone have a sense of how much newspaper endorsements affect the presidential race? Not just the Chron, I mean in general. I know when I'm voting, I like to use the endorsements to help me with some of the down-ballot judges and such, but I would assume most voters aren't going to be swayed by a newspaper when picking a presidential candidate.
Thank God they endorsed someone... I wouldn't have know WHAT to do with my vote. Thanks Chron! You guys are so kewl.
