What do you mean Kobe like performance? Are you talking about 15 ppg on 37% in the finals or 22 ppg on 38% in the finals?
I agree, but again I think the improvement is very small. So since there isn't a pg out there to make us exceptionally better, do we go after a wing that can play off the ball? Artests' ball stopping and non-playmaking abilities is really killing this offense. OR do we wait and see if Adelman can right the ship? I really think something goes down at the trading deadline if the offense doesn't start clicking. Yao is expected back Wednesday, so we'll finally see how a full healthy lineup works out.
yeah some of the tmac fans here are beyond delusional, they defend him for anything. if tmac misses the shot, its the basket's fault too. I wish Tmac would play defense like how some of his fans defending him for anything.
Man do you ever have anything to say regarding the actual game? I mean, I see where your coming from but damn it seems that all your posts are bashing fans/players or giving history lessons.
incase you didn't realize, kobe just distributes around for 3 quarters and his status completely changes in the fourth. Hence, just compare the 2 players in their fourth quarters would tell justice.
While the hate for Tracy here comes in bulk, posting another thread about the hate probably doesnt help the situation. In fact, I believe its actually adding to the pile of hate threads, considering how this one has about 9 pages of love and hate.
You know Evan, through all this I keep thinking of Steve too. I loved the guy... love Tracy too... and wanted him to succeed. But, eventually I just had to realize that his shortcomings were holding my team back and had to hope for a trade. I hated feeling that way, but I couldn't deny what I saw on the floor. I still felt sad when he was traded to Orlando and wished him well. It was all very difficult to realize with Steve too. After all, he was an All-Star and put up great numbers. He was amazing to watch. How could the Franchise be the problem? But he was. If Tracy could turn it around, I would be ecstatic. But, I'm not seeing it happen on the floor.
I shouldve came in this thread first, anyways, Ill quote myself from another thread regarding T-Mac... "I don't see how people can still have faith in T-Mac. He's been on the decline for 2 years now. Time to get rid of him, or let the team suffer for the next year and a half from a overpaid "has been" who still thinks he's got "it" The problem of this team isn't solely T-Mac's fault, though he is a big part of it. There is also Adelman's horrible decision making and Ron's horrible decision making on offense. T-Mac isn't going to play like the 2004-2005 T-Mac again, hell probably not even last years T-Mac. He's just saying all the right things to make the fans feel good, "Im back" and "Youre going to see the vintage T-Mac". This whole season so far has been summed up as nothing but hype and no results. Don't get me wrong I would love to see T-Mac prove me wrong, but he hasn't so far, and his history isn't too convincing that he will.
It's the fans that claim themselves as "Realist" but they take it a bit too far, and forget to actually cheer for the players on the team. But rather they actually enjoy when they are right about a player not doing as good. It's ok to be a bit upset at times, but goodness, at least cheer for the guy to do good to help the team instead of constantly putting him down.
Yea you're right. Hey everybody! Lets cheer for the 21 million a year "superstar" who does nothing but settle for fadeaway jumpers and plays half assed basketball after claiming he's "fully back"
Philadelphia fans boo their teams and players when they suck. I'm not cheering for air balls and i'm going to blame the other players when one player plays bad.
do i need to recap to you what happened last night? no. you saw it. go ahead, defend him. we played the knicks, a team that plays zero defense.
they get what they deserve when they compare what tracy did vs the knicks last night vs what kobe did against boston in the finals. i would never associate these people as rocket fans. its shameful. do we want a piano to fall on tmac? no. we want him to play better. do we want his fans to make an excuse for every freaking single thing he does? no. and we're tired of their crap. you saw what happened last night. defend that. and tell why kobe in the nba finals has anything to do with it. Kobe lost to the champs in the finals. we lost to the knicks cause our 21 million dollar player won't play d consistently and throws up airballs in crunch time.
Yea I think its pretty sad, but hey I'll bet my life Tracy doesn't care what people think of him over the computer.
Hes has never shot 47% in his career even when he was at his peak. So why would he became to shoot that now?
Since he's been here I've done nothing but pull for him. But this season yea Im pulling for him, but so far he hasn't given anyone any reason to support him. He's played bad, been lazy, and quit on the team a few times this season already. Doing that makes it kind of hard to pull for him, especially with him being tagged one of the two faces of this franchise.
You take a shot at Tracy at every chance you get dont' you? You love it right? I bet you wake up everyday and can't wait to think of something to say bad about Tracy. He must be on your mind all day and everyday.
