I didn't argue that it is an adequate return. There isn't a single franchise in the history of the NBA that has ever gotten an adequate return when a superstar demands a trade. I argued that they did not trade Harden for Oladipo as you had claimed.

Rockets/Stone detailed their demands for Harden trade publicly and early in the process:
    • Multiple FRP
    • Young player(s)
    • All Star Player
Oladipo was supposed to be the All Star caliber player, bottom line.

And Oladipo was someone that Stone & Silas specifically targeted for this role, per Kelly Iko.

Nope I’ve mentioned in this very thread that those late first rounders were not a great return before. The fact is the Rockets wanted to audition Dipo for other teams to get most value at the deadline. Right now his value is less then we got him due his bad play and injuries. It’s terrible. So he is a net negative and those picks are late firsts.

I suspect They get nothing for Dipo
Maybe some Sign and Trade for lesser contracts in the off season

... You mean a playoffs the Rockets won't be a part of.

I can't even find a single media outlet talking about the Rockets.

All those Rockets weapons on fully display tonight. Nobody out due to injury and we just got castrated by the freaking Cavs.

Yep. Dipo is a large expiring contract but it looks like it's not going to work out.

I will reiterate this point. Dipo trade value is now way less then when we got him. What a epic fail trade

Harden would’ve been an absolute fool to want to stay here...he was willing to do whatever it took to gtfoh because he knew what was up. He made the best decision of his career.

this is a typical Knicks level season so far

If the Rockets management seriously thought that Oladipo was the answer they should be fired right now. The Harden trade was not about Oladipo but about all the draft picks we got back. We did get a lot of picks and pick swaps back and those picks go all the way out to 2027 with no protection. Just be patient -- some of them will turn out to be good.
