The Harden doesn't have any help crowd is looking bad

You misunderstand what Im saying, Im telling you Maxey would not have stopped a Harden deal from being done. Do you really believe that it would have? When there are reports confirming that Fertitta didnt want to deal with Morey in the first place. They were just using Philly to up the Nets offer. We honestly didnt need 3 firsts. We just needed two, Simmons and Thybulle and that beats the Nets deal. We had time to get the best deal possible and we didnt do it. If we had called for a counter offer we may have been able to get Maxey and more. But Maxey not being added is still a better deal than what we got tbh. Simmons could be traded or here or flipped, its way better than what we have now with the Nets. Luck? Do you really believe the Nets are going to allow themselves to be bottom of the barrel trash? Its very doubtful and a bad gamble tbh.

He absolutely wanted Harden, but that's not gonna stop Morey from trying to get a better deal but it ultimately also wouldnt stop him from offering good assets for him. My point is, we didnt even give him a chance to say no. We didnt return with any counter offer. Either Maxey or one more pick was a win tbh.

 

This is the type of team the media and people on clutchfans would say Harden “choked” with for not winning a title.

If Harden were on the Rockets it'd at least make it more fun to watch games, but Harden definitely wasn't wrong about the team, I mean if he was still playing here he'd make everyone else look better and the Rockets would make the playoffs and the 2nd round probably...
