When you sign on to be the Chris Bosh on a super team, your days of MVP consideration SHOULD be over.

Hardly the Chris Bosh when the the entire offense is run through him. You act like he's jjst standing around doing nothing. He's more a Lebron than Bosh.

How great would that be? Win 1 ring as a net then leave to comeback to Houston with all the Nets picks and John Wall contract off the books. Greatest plan in NBA history.

How are u the team’s main facilitator and engine of the offense, but you’re the Chris Bosh of the team? The stupidity never ends

Harden could easily shoot more with the Nets, but he’s choosing not to because Kyrie and KD are nowhere close to him when it comes to playmaking for others, so they might as well focus on shooting and scoring since Harden can impact the game at an extremely high level with his passing while the other 2 can’t.

Harden doesn't have enough help crowd looking bad? This topic looking bad.

Don't give me the "we haven't had a full team and we look good when everybody plays" crap either.

    1. We literally played a bunch of teams that aren't any good. Credit to them for winning because we can't really seem to do that presently, but no need to plan the parade either.

    2. How often have we even had the full team available due to injuries and guys not being able to play in back to backs?

Injury concerns were always part of the topic of conversation in regards to the potential of this team from day one. Cousins, Wall, Nwaba, and Gordon were all injury risks and Wood was being relied upon to start and play more minutes than he ever has in his career on a slight frame. Add Oladipo to this mix now and this is what we have. A roster where you never know who is going to play and little opportunity to build continuity because guys are constantly in and out. You can't win at the highest level with that.

it's always the folks that kneejerk and prematurely make threads trying to say I told you so, that end up aging terribly for them. Just another thread added to the horrible list.

TBH The Rockets have always had injury problems dating back to Dwight. Fans just took for granted they had a superstar that played 97% of his games no matter how many people were out, and how bad the roster was, and he would drop 40-50 points to keep the team afloat while Dwight, CP3, Westbrook, etc were chilling on the bench. They even started the season with 60% of the roster out because of a haircut, and that guy dropped 44/17 on the Blazers while quitting. This was to be expected with a core of 3 players coming back from serious injuries, and a player who has been constantly injured for the past 3-4 years. The only wildcard was Wood getting injured.

Harden dealing with the same stuff in BK. COVID absences should be treated as injuries too.

Brooklyn without KD and Kyrie out or having an off game is definitely reminiscent of Harden on the worst Rockets squads. Will be interesting to see if any of their new guys move the needle. They don’t have to be great, just rotation level NBA players.

The Nets have zero depth left. They might end up with a low playoff seed if Kyrie and Durant continues to miss games. Harden can't carry that team by himself, it's not like before.

Our roster right now is such a random bag of players I can't even make out what it's suppose to be. Hopefully trades are made soon.

Rockets are 11-14...the last time the Rockets had a record like that, this happened

but I’m sure all the imaginary ball movement under Silas and heart from scrubs will be able to climb the standings no problem this year

But harden slows the offense down. ....Wall and Dipo have delusions of grandeur right now. Especially wall who thinks he is an elite ISO player and regularly freezes out Wood

Never fear! John Wall is going to do his best dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble shoot a pull up contested jumper to try and replicate Harden's supreme abilities.

And apparently we're all meant to ignore it and smile and wave because heck. WeRe FrEe Of IsO bAlL. Im So HaPpY wE hAvE WaLl InStEaD oF hArDeN TrUuU tEaM pLaYa

we’re so blessed to have a franchise player with heart in Wall, he is a real leader, and even tho we don’t pass the ball and have the highest ISO frequency in the league under Silas, we get to see beautiful and fun offense every night - backwards CF logic

I think it's somewhere in between. I think this Rockets squad is deeper than most he's had throughout his career. Chris Wood was an amazing fit with Harden and could have developed into his best ever running mate that perfectly compliments his skill-set. On paper, we're probably still not a contender, but with Harden fully buying in and playing at an MVP level I think we could get there. I understand why he thought it was time to move on, but its disappointing he didn't give this roster a chance.
