Lots of ungrungy stuff being posted.... is it a grunge thread, or just covering the surrounding decade+?

 

I think looking back there was a lot going on musically during this period. You had Hip Hop coming into the mainstream for the first time, the release of The Chronic by Dr Dre is considered a watershed moment. You had of course the Grunge and Alternative music scene. You also had New Wave and early electronic music evolving into what is known as EDM today with the rise of DJ personalities.

I think this has turned into a grunge/alt/music of the era thread.
