Before his injury, Bo was looking like the best athlete of all time... let alone the best running back... I have no problem with him on that list in ANY slot they choose for him.

I thought Emmitt was a great back, but him being over OJ and Earl Campbell. Is very questionable to me. Considering those 2 backs never played on a great teams and were better at their best than Smith was. Also, I think Faulk should be a little higher, as well. Bo was great, but he wasn't a finished product. I loved Bo, but I think Terrell Davis or Tony Dorsett should take the last spot and move Bo off.

You give me any of those guys to start a team with, I am taking Barry Sanders with Bo Jackson only a hair behind him...

I think Smith is too high. Jackson is too high also.

This is not an official list that will go down as forever in the history of time. It's just one guy's opinion.

Doesn't matter who's ranked where. They're all great backs.

Bo might have been spectacular when he was on the field but this list claims "Greatest" not most potential. To put him ahead of Earl and O.J (who's status as a vile person doesn't change what he was on the field) seems like a reach.

Figured it might be Bleacher Report. They've been revving up rankings lists for various sports.

Bo Jackson's talent and what-could-have-been potential puts him high on the list. But you might as well put Adrian Peterson on the list for that, he's had about the same career.

I'd put Ladanian Tomlinson in the list, take Franco Harris out.

Campbell was DEFINITELY better, & HAD a better career, than Bo Jackson.

    Lists are gay.

    QFT.

Switch their situations and Earl may very well have rivaled Jim Brown while Harris would have been an afterthought.

Barry should be number 1, but I have no problem with Jim Brown being ahead of him.

Also if you put Bo on there why not Terrell Davis? Has there even been anyone else who has rush for 2000+ yards and 20+ TDs in the same season?

The by far best RB I ever saw play was OJ. (Jim Brown was before my time, but I saw the others.)
