My favorite is "A good sign that your winning is when your dominating, when you dominate you win" ORLY??
When the team is winning and there's not that many things to b**ch about ... They are the easy targets
LOL Damn good idea!... Drexler's Button 1: "He's a constant professional, and an all-around great guy Bill." Drexler's button 2: "Yes Bill, he's a great basketball player, and a person you would love to meet off the court. Drexler's button 3: "Well Bill, they have no answer for the "Great Wall" Drexler's button 4: "Oh, Tracy McGrady! T-mac to the rack!" and we would never know drexler was not actually commentating the game
worrel gets excited, so he can say whatever he wants, the funny part was after worrel said "You cant deny Yao Ming" and drexler follows up with something like "there's no denying the great wall!!!!!!!!!"
lol.. and i love catching clyde just repeat 1 second later what bill says..and says "just like u said" as if we dont realize it.. at least hes not callin rafer his darkhorse to make the all-star team anymore lol
LOL hell yeah! Hell I'd rather to try and understand an 1hr long interview with Dekembe than listen to drexler's basic comments for a entire game
Classy. With such a keen ability to distill your thoughts into coherent points, you should go join your local debate team. That "shut up" line of yours should make you unbeatable. I also love how you juxtapose Walton with Clyde, as if Walton is clamoring to come do Rockets games instead of his national gig. Brilliant. Hint to rookies: This is not a text messaging board. For example, here we have at least 8 grammatical errors in 15 words... which inhibits the ability of readers to truly understand that this poster is a dunderhead. Complete words, proper punctuation, and clear thinking are encouraged.
for the OP: I haven't read any posts in this thread, so I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but Bill Worrell is the guy who coined the terms "Great Wall" and "shanghai shake".. and yes, Worrell says it on OFFENSE.. example: "u cant stop the great wall once he gets that close to the rim" and when Yao head fakes: "Yaaaoo, with the Shanghai shake!!".. please stop getting so technical about it.. Worrell was just trying to make watching Yao a little less boring (no hate on Yao, but u gotta agree that it's not "entertaining", effective, yes, but not fun) .. I actually feel kinda disturbed by this whole "shanghai shake" thing because the only "shake" I know is the "dream shake", the one that had Robinson, Karla, Ewing, and everybody in the league completely "bamboozled".. on a side note, I thought Clyde has really improved on the analysis part.. I don't know if anyone else heard this, but his analysis of Bonzi's game was really impressive and wasn't cliched at all... btw, since I haven't read any posts, I don't know if someone threw a "bring back calvin" b****in' .. if this indeed happened, please refer to the Calvin Murphy Is a r****d thread which is in the garm.. turns out Tmac passed it to SHane to make him look bad because he was jealous! [my cousine vinny impression]why didn't I think of that?
BWAHAHAHA Remember that time they caught her off guard with the camera when whe wasn't ready and she just froze? It was the kind of face that made me think that she just ripped a huge fart when the cameraman yelled action.
Yes, the real great wall doesn't move, so what......calling yao the great wall on O and D is fine. Objecting is like someone saying don't call shaq the diesel, he's not a truck
