I couldn't have thought of a better ending for the diva-man. Lead his team to the brink of the Super Bowl, have them in position to win the game, and then do an incredibly stupid thing like throwing across his body and watch his team lose. Knowing him, the attention w**** that he is, he probably did it on purpose so he will have an excuse to come back for yet ANOTHER season but with a different team. Maybe he can come back and play for the Raiders, LOL.

I'm sure Al Davis kept track of Brett Favre's blazing speed after he scored each one of his touchdowns (this season) and ran at his teammates as if Tom Cable heard (and saw) Randy Hanson hold up a medium well cooked steak while yelling at him "come get it b****".

So yes I believe he will be with the Crimina.. err I mean the Raiders next year.

    Wait,

Is it true Favre's last play with the Packers, Jets, and Vikings was an int?

    Damn.

He made a STUPID play, but I still thought he was a warrior today. He was getting killed and still had them in position to win. But yes, he did blow it in the end. I guess my point is I don't see too many QB's being as effective getting hit that much. Stark contrast to the Jets/Colts game...while I'm watching Manning jump to the turf before someone even touches him.

I don't think he could have made it that far. I looked at it again and the defense stood back once he cocked it to throw. Considering his gimpy leg, if he woulda tucked it I see them closing rather quickly.

The worst thing about his INT is that it was thrown backwards across the field.

I fully expected NO to get into at least FG range if not take it to the house.

No he's going to play for the Bears so he can stick it to the Vikes and the Pack. The year after that he will play for the Bills to stick it to the Jets and then play for the Tampa Bay so he can stick it to the team that drafted him first the Falcons.

he could run 6-7, so thats make about a 49 yards FG, and with a kicker like Longwell, he could got it.

last play in the last 2 NFC championships Favre played is an interception

Seriously though although I dislike him, he did put his team in a better position to win than a guy like Tarvaris Jackson or Fumblecopter might have

I seriously doubt it. He is winding up to throw at around the 42. There is a player that isn't that far from him at the 40, and I doubt a gimpy Favre could even outrun that dude. Additionally, there are 2 defenders at around the 32 yard line, and the only reason they aren't running up is because Favre is cocked back, ready to throw (the one that jumps actually is coming up then he stops when he seems the pass coming...then jumps). If he tucks it to run they aren't that far from him and he doesn't really have blockers in front of him. I'm pretty sure they run faster than he does too. I don't see him making it more than 4-5 yards. So wouldn't that put it at the 35 and back at best, still making it a 50 yard kick?

had farve pumped faked again i think he could have got to the 33 to get at most a 48 yard field goal.

even if he would have only got to the 35 to make it a 50 yard field goal, ryan longwell is a good kicker and farve should have trusted him to try and win the game for them instead of try t be mr. magic and complete a ridiculous throw imo.
