Agreed it was a terrible mismatch and there easily could have been some lingering affects from the knee injury. All the same, it's just an example of why I believe Boozer isn't a "system player". He's a legit 20-10 player regardless of who his coach or PG is. Brand is better but he's also a loser. He's played on one winning team his entire career, IIRC. That's tragic. He's not Shareef Abdur Rahim "bad" but he's close. I like Brand as a player but I took exception with the poster that acted like Boozer isn't worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as Brand. I don't buy that for one second.
Brand just came off surgery and is playing with a new team and everyone is already dogging him...... Kick while they are down fellas, real classy......
Brand is a good guy. I like him. But what do you expect people to do to the biggest free-agent bust by far, pat him on the back? He may never fully recover and the Sixers might have thrown $85 million down the toilet.
I'm not sure what you mean by "dog." If you mean criticizing his signing as an obvious mistake, as well as his embarrassingly-bad play before he went down, then yes, I have less class than Mike Tyson and Anna Nichole Smith put together.
