By all means, partner. Hopefully I can set everything in stone tomorrow.

If I can't that means I'm still unemployed! yippee! another free throw!

OK, Achebe, what kind of food. Let us know, and we'll find a place (Kagy and Freak, that means you)!

Houston is about 160 miles from Austin.
It takes me about 2.5 hours but I drive a Corolla. My brother gets there in 2 with his BMW.

    LOL!!!

I would probably not be able to make it on a Wednesday unless it was like a happy hour thing; Wednesday's one of the nights my band rehearses, usually from 7 to 11 or so.

"Gosh Kagy, isn't that a long time to rehearse?"

Trust me. We need the practice.

Achebe, guess my thunder was taken from me. 160 miles, couple of hours, yada yada. [IMG]

I've made it in 2 hours (in MY corolla - don't dis the car outlaw!) but I wouldn't recommend it. 2 1/2 hours is easy to make. Not sure a 5 hour drive (there and back) is worth it to see the laptop, tho.

Count me in too. Sounds fun.

    Hey guys,

My trip is actually going to occur this upcoming week... so it's up to you guys 'in the know' to figure out what we should do.

BK mentioned doing a 'happy hour' thing if we go on Wednesday. I'd try to squeeze it in Monday, but it's imperative that I learn as much about this software as I can when I actually have their audience.

So... what should we do? Do you guys want to do a happy hour & dinner? Does anyone have a strict diet? It's your city, so I'll let you guys figure out where we should go.

I just ask one thing. Make sure that it's spicey.
