Game threads are so bad. Even worse is if Clutchfans had its way, Harden/Howard would be off the team.
Well when I try and put some effort into my threads they always get 2 comments and sent straight to the second page. This. I guess periodically starting a thread to complain about the GARM makes you guys feel a little better. Honestly, I am as tired about the complainers as those who they complain about, just like I am as tired about the LOFs as those who complain about them.
1. McHale sux 2. Why is Lin Benched, why does McHale hate Lin, Lin can do so much better, Lin da bes 3. Harden not a superstar, Harden no defense, Harden is basically KMart, Harden clubbing and jumping around with broken foot, Harden Ball hog, PG is better than Harden, McHale treats Harden better than Lin. 4. Trade Howard, Why no Howard make freethrows 5. We should trade both Howard and Harden because they aren't super stars 6. Random kneejerk about a bench player that did well once in a blue moon. rinse repeat
It is still the best place to find Rocket related breaking news by a long shot. It's pretty clear which threads contain valuable information and which ones to avoid. The first post is a good indicator: if it doesn't contain valid information skip it. Unless it's someone with tangible news or information, I have little interest in reading the pontifications of would-be armchair GMs. You know who you are and you're not better informed nor more knowledgable than Morey or McHale.

Honestly, about the only time I enter the GARM is when I'm looking for a link or highlights to the last game. F you CSN & Rockets & Astros........
I know everything is hunky dory right now here at clutch fans with the current participation, but I would offer a warning to clutch about the future. When you start getting people run out of the GARM that are replaced with these nonsense spewing fools, you set yourself up to fall off of a cliff. NYYFANS.com is a great example.
I hate to repeat what you just said, Easy, but this. There are a heck of a lot of good threads and posts in the GARM on a regular basis. Yes, they can sometimes be hard to find due to the "noise," but they are there if the discerning member takes a moment to look. I've done my share of complaining about the GARM myself, but we shouldn't let the things that bother us cloud the reality that you can find good discussions everyday. In my humble opinion, at any rate.
