Did Rick Adelman get a tech in that game? Because if he didn't shame on him.

The Sacramento Kings were loaded in talent and were a fun team to watch. Despite playing 5 on 8, they were right there to win game 6. That's how good they were as a collective. David Stern, Bob Delaney, Dick Bavetta, and Ted Bernhardt make me sick and i hope the next time they are at the Toyota Center they get booed loudly.

Olajuwan's Rockets were flat out better than teams and withstood terrible officiating during their championship run.

If Phil Jackson suggested the 1999 Spurs should have an asterisk (*) next to their championship due to labor-strike shortened season, i would suggest the 2002 Lakers championship should have double asterisk (**) next to it as a special thanks to the referees and David Stern!

That was crazy -- you can see the point where the Kings players realized the fix is in -- they start laughing at calls, the stare of disbelief, Adelman's reactions...

Wow, that Kobe elbow might be the biggest obvious missed playoff call next to Finley being out of bounds....oh, and Fisher landing on folks backs.

Yeah I posted this mainly so people who didn't see the games would have a chance to see how terrible this game really was.

And yes, I do agree, CWebb was one hell of a good passer. As was Divac under RA. Everything looked so fluid, and the ball movement was amazing.

Thing is, I remember it took a year or two for the RA system to fully click with that team. I am hoping the same will be said for our team. Seeing a offense like that here in Houston would simply be amazing.

I hate living in the past but...we got screwed royally...this is game still pisses me off to no end. If not for the refs, Webb wouldn't get the bad rep he does now for not winning a championship.

From watching those videos the biggest thing that jumped out to me was how underrated Vlade Divac was. I almost forgot about him until I saw those videos. 7'1 with 3 point range, crafty post moves, good passer, wasn't afraid to mix it up, knew all the little tricks and had good overall basketball skills/knowledge.

 I can't believe how the Kings players can take it so lightly. If I was one of them, I would have clobbered as many of the refs as I could manage before the security took me down. F that, I would have started a Pistons-Pacers type of a brawl. How did those bellends keep their job?

Anybody could say that was fixed; can anyone watch that and say that it wasn't fixed? Your faith in the league is strong. How bad can you reasonably expect an officiating team to be on a given night?

seeing just burned me up even more. i remember the crazy calls that the lakers got but i totally forgot how the kings were getting hammered on the other end without getting any calls themselves. it makes no sense how one sided that game was and the kings lost by what 3-4 points?

if it wasnt for Horry in game 4 and the refs in game 6 this series would have been over in 5 games. the kings were clearly the superior team in nearly every way.

i really hope stern burns, i appreciate all that he has done for the league in bringing it up and making it a "world" game but the last 10 years has been run terribly imo with stern more focused on making money than the integrity of the game. its time for a new commissioner imo

Kings were simply beaten to death by the refs.

Watching it again from hindsight, I can see that too. They seem to have realized that the game was rigged and start laughing at calls. That's the only way I can explain how "well" the Kings took all the BS calls without blowing off their top.

It's as if they are saying, "Oh what the heck. They aren't gonna call it our way. Might as well enjoy it."

Watched the videos... as bad as some of the Rockets' games have been, I don't think any were as atrocious as that officiating.

Even before the Donaghy thing, I knew this game was suspect. I always said they got the most royal shaft in that one. The foul on kobe when Bibby gets busted in the nose was ridiculous. The Kings will be one of, if not, the best teams to never win it all.

Its because of this that I dislike the NBA. I love the Rockets, but can't stand watching the refs. Its the worst officiating in sports. I really hope stern resigns or at least enough noise is made to where he has no choice. Maybe then they can clean up the refs.

Don't insult that 2002 Kings team by even insinuating the Rockets dealt with anything close to game 6... "bad officiating" is one thing, but absolutely getting bent over is quite another.
