The Future of the Rockets

    The only thing a players owes to their team is playing for them for the amount of time stated on the contract. When that's up, they can do whatever they want.

    And I don't think we can keep signing people to a low salary and promising them a big pay day once their contract is up. I think it hurts us in the long run. We end up paying too much for guys who aren't worth it, and it will cause us not to have enough money when guys who are worth it are available.

    I agree with thacabbage and DaMan... we really don't have the right to be pissed at him if he leaves. I reserve that right anyhow [​IMG]

    Rockets really take a step back if he leaves. From a very strong backcourt top to bottom to a very good starting backcourt... Mobley helps in so many ways when you can rotate 3 very good, very quick guards there.

    I refuse to believe it though until he has signed for the Canadian dollar.

    Getting either Croshere or Rashard seems to be impossible but I get the feeling somehow the Rockets are going to come away with one of them. Just a hunch though...
