The only thing a players owes to their team is playing for them for the amount of time stated on the contract. When that's up, they can do whatever they want. And I don't think we can keep signing people to a low salary and promising them a big pay day once their contract is up. I think it hurts us in the long run. I agree with thacabbage and DaMan... we really don't have the right to be pissed at him if he leaves. I reserve that right anyhow Rockets really take a step back if he leaves. From a very strong backcourt top to bottom to a very good starting backcourt... Mobley helps in so many ways when you can rotate 3 very good, very quick guards there. I refuse to believe it though until he has signed for the Canadian dollar. Getting either Croshere or Rashard seems to be impossible but I get the feeling somehow the Rockets are going to come away with one of them.
