Shouldn't they be wearing some snappy (red) hats?

Like the chap below... at least he is wearing a hat. Gee, a politician outright lying to get his way... trumpism must be migrating to the UK...

And here comes the UK's fox news, to defend the lie as "clearly comically polemic and and could not be reasonably read as a serious, empirical, in-depth analysis of hard factual matters". So that's how they excuse a politician outright lying...

It will be interesting to see how these numbers translate into seats. And also to see some numbers on the seat projections for the other nations of the EU, especially those who have strong Eurosceptic, anti-establishment parties. The UK should certainly be leading the way on that list, but they are not the only one by any means.

According to British press reports, it appears that there is a rising expectation that Theresa May could resign tonight, which means withing the next few hours.

Theresa May CANCELS meetings as she prepares to 'resign TONIGHT

4.35pm update: Prime Minister to resign TONIGHT - MP claims
Sky’s chief political correspondent Jon Craig tweeted: “Very senior MP tells me the word from the Cabinet corridor in the HoC is that the PM will resign tonight, Andrea Leadsom is poised to resign to launch a leadership bid, others may also resign & David Lidington will take over as acting PM. Unconfirmed!”
4.15pm update: Foreign affairs select committee chair calls for May to stand down
Writing in the Financial Times, Tory MP Tom Tugendhat said: “There is one last chance to get it right and leave in an orderly fashion.
“But it is now time for Prime Minister Theresa May to go - and without delay.
"She must announce her resignation after Thursday's European elections."

The Tory MP's and members of her cabinet are now all but coming out of the woodwork to call for Theresa May's resignation. Whether the rumors of her resigning today are true or not, we will know within a few hours. But it is certainly past time for her to go.

As far as the EU elections tomorrow, they practically mean nothing as far as the UK's Brexit plans, except to the extent they are looked at as a barometer of how dissatisfied the Tory base is with their party's handling of Brexit.

All polls and every person with an opinion about the EU parliamentary elections - which the UK should not even be participating in - are expecting the Tories to be wiped out in epic fashion tomorrow. As far as I can tell, there is not a single member of the Tory leadership in Westminster that will publicly deny it.

Meanwhile, Theresa May has proposed a fourth vote on her deal and also a vote on a second referendum. The Tories in her cabinet and throughout the party have responded by abandoning her and calling for her resignation. In the olden days, they might have taken her out and burned her at the stake. The animosity towards her appears to be escalating steadily. Surely she will not be able to hold on for very much longer.

Brexit: Tory MPs abandoning May after second referendum offer – as it happened

Theresa May’s final attempt to patch together a parliamentary majority for Brexit appears to have backfired after her 10-point “new deal” was rejected by MPs from across the political spectrum.

In a speech at the headquarters of consultancy PricewaterhouseCoopers in London on Tuesday, the prime minister laid out a series of promises that will be included in the 100-page withdrawal agreement bill (Wab) when it is published later this week – including an offer of a binding vote on a referendum if the deal passes.

But, after a stormy cabinet meeting in which a more generous proposed offer on a second referendum was met with the threat of revolt, MPs on both sides of the Brexit divide said that the proposals were hollow. Within hours, more than 20 Conservatives who backed the deal last time rejected it.

October 31, 2019 is the new legal Brexit date. Tick tock, the clock is ticking. If that changes feel free to let us all know, if I do not get to it first.

Has anyone stepped up and defined what Brexit would be, or they still sticking with a vague notion in order to garner support again?

No, that is what is infuriating the British electorate. Of course the globalist left establishment elite think that this strategy is their best chance. What a bunch of thoroughly despicable and completely selfish people these people are.

The goal posts have to stop moving. The goal posts moving and the people moving them is the problem here.

And if she steps down, there will be a vigorous contest among the Tories to replace her. The key is whether the new PM is a real Brexit supporter or not. Theresa May played like she was until the EU made their offer to extend Brexit until October, and then she dropped the Brexit Kimono all together, and stood their for us all to see her in her full Remainer glory.

And now it is time for here to go.

Who is the frontrunner to replace her? According to many, including JP Morgan analysts, it is former Foreign Minister Boris Johnson.

Boris Johnson to be the next UK leader by September, JP Morgan predicts

Former Foreign Minister Boris Johnson will win the race to be the next leader of the United Kingdom and quickly call a general election to gain support for his Brexit plan. That’s the new base-case scenario from the investment bank J.P. Morgan, who said Tuesday the probability that Britain will leave the European Union without a deal has also risen.

Johnson will not be the only contender and it will likely be a raucous Tory inter-party contest. It could be someone else. But Johnson has been largely supportive of the Leave cause and actually resigned his position as Foreign Minister because May was conceding too much to the Remainers. But he has looked a bit wobbly at times, too.

I do not know who will be the next Prime Minister in the UK, but if I was forced to make a gut-check bet right now, I would be reluctant to put that bet on Boris. However, I do not see anyone else who is likely to run who is more of a sure thing than Boris currently is. So, who knows.

Well because the Nationalists are only power grabbers without any notion of what Brexit should be besides a campaign issue...

... that type of incompetence came back and hurt them. The Populist are thoroughly despicable people who only want power and could care less about the people.

The populists (same root word as population) are the people, and the other choice are the establishment elites. And if not nationalism, then globalism, right?

The alternative is the globalist left establishment elites, who people like you support, whether it be wittingly or unwittingly. The people who are campaigning against Brexit are primarily the globalist left establishment elites, and their bleating knee-jerk followers.

This is not over yet and if May is replaced with a true Brexit supporter, then this is going to get interesting again and that probably sooner than later.

Well obviously globalism. Why has Texas, Tennessee, Washington, Kentucky, and AL become major job creators and exporters while the rust belt gets left behind? Why has globalism helped some and hurt others?

Brexit populism is the losers approach to not being able to adapt to the 21st century. It’s essentially a new type of welfare for the losers who can’t compete.

Andrea Leadsom, the leader of the House of Commons, has quit.

Andrea Leadsom RESIGNS: Brexit nightmare for May as Cabinet minister QUITS

ANDREA LEADSOM, the Leader of the House of Commons, have resigned from the Government in protest with Theresa May's handling of Brexit, claiming the Prime Minister's approach may not "deliver on the referendum result".

This is the "Et tu, Brute?" moment of this saga. Now it is just a question about how long it takes for May to politically bleed out. She is finished.
