Right so you are posting “tick tock” because you support a no deal Brexit.

If the alternative to no deal is anything other than Brexit with a good deal, the yes, in that case I support Brexit with no deal.

    What’s a “good deal”?

So why do you repeatedly post “tick tock”?

Why should EU give UK a "good" deal? It would be in the interest of the EU to give UK a "bad" deal.

If the EU can get the UK to accept a bad deal that is inordinately in the EU's interest to the UK's detriment , then that would certainly make sense for the EU to pursue that. However, if the UK will not agree to this bad deal - and so far the UK Parliament has twice refused to do so - then the EU would be smart to recognize that a no-deal scenario is a worse option for their own people than a mutually agreeable good deal.

A good deal is at a minimum a deal that would provide a clear time limit on the backstop arrangement that would not give the EU final authority over when and if the UK can actually leave the EU.

No. The EU will never willingly agree to breaking a UN treaty.
The UK can be criminals on their own but the EU will never be complicit to it.

    They changed it now again.
To what not sure. 11 April or 7 May.
She did horribly at the council and every country leader decided to harden their stance even further and not even give her the basic courtesy.

Before Brexit UK diplomacy was highly regarded but now it has become a national embarassment. :D

This is all posturing for the negotiations. Until an actual extension date is agreed to, all of the various speculations are just that. But I did say several months ago that the May 22 date is what would make sense, as May 23 is the date that the EU Parliamentary elections take place. If the UK is not going to participate in those, it does make good sense for them to be out by then.

All for nothing. The French are right to not bother with May's bullshit.

Why pointlessly give the UK time to fix their laws? Let them crash out with a 10%+ hole in their basic legislature.

The Brits have mobilised the army , nuclear bunkers and teachers in Kent are told that they will have to abandon classes and keep kids in school after hours with no hot meals because of the traffic chaos with 10 thousand lorries parked in their city. It will cost them 1 million pounds each day only for Kent.

If the citizens object to it they should show it by going to Saturday's demonstration and tear up Westminster instead of online voting in some petition.
If they want to save their country they should do it themselves and not expect Denmark to throw them a lifeline.

Don't the French take the streets?

MP's are now being advised to travel in groups for safety:

British MPs advised to travel in groups to avoid Brexit abuse

British Members of Parliament have been advised to take taxis or travel home together to avoid the risk of abuse over Brexit. Lindsay Hoyle, a deputy speaker of the House of Commons, wrote to all MPs saying the Metropolitan Police had been “left in no doubt” that they must ensure “Members of Parliament can vote in Parliament without fear.”

Hoyle, a Labour MP since 2010, wrote: “Personally, I have never felt this level of tension during my time in the House and I am aware that other colleagues feel the same. “Many colleagues have already been subject to widely publicised abuse and intimidation.” He advised MPs to take “simple steps to improve our personal safety" such as traveling home by taxi or with colleagues, as "tensions and emotions are running at an all-time high."

Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle said on Thursday that a man had tried to assault him and had branded MPs "traitors." Also on Thursday, Tobias Ellwood, a Conservative MP and defense minister, tweeted a letter he was sent, threatening him and pledging to "bring London to its f***ing knees."

It sounds like Theresa May was right when she said in her speech that the people have had enough.

Yeah she was right that there will be violence after inciting it herself with yesterday's speech.

Even her chief whip openly admitted today that he is appalled by what she said yesterday.

What kind of taking back control is this? :D
Not only their quality of life, economy and trade next week will be dependant on what the EU decides today, but now the EU is replacing the role of the PM itself!

There is a limit to how much you can help a suicidal person.
    What an embarassment for Britain.
With this kind of leadership and parties they are going to negotiate new trade deals? They are going to be roasted left and right.

So Brexit day is 12 April.
More than enough time now to trigger GE and collapse the government.

    Good post.

Which in a way, that is what this is really all about to the EU, isn't it?

I'm shocked that no-deal Brexit won't happen on March 29. Shocked, I tell you! How could anyone have foreseen this?!
