But she does not need any votes for Brexit with no deal to occur on March 29, 2019. That is what happens by default.

Yes, but they don't want to acknowledge that because of how bad a no deal Brexit would be for the EU.

It will be especially bad for the Germans and their car exports. Angela Merkel is going to be on the hot seat.

It won't be bad for long, that's the kind of leverage that gets trade deals done in a hurry.....which is why the fear mongering rhetoric of the remainers and the EU fail under scrutiny.

Yeah, if left to their own devices, they will spend decades working through something like this. Not this time.

What is your sooner/later wager for a deal covering this being completed by July 4, 2019?

If there's a no deal Brexit, I'd guess there would be a deal done within a month. Again, German automobile people were saying that a no deal Brexit would be "fatal" to their industry, they'll be desperate to prevent that.

    Here we go again.
Yes she does. Boyle will table his amendment to extend brexit for 9 months.
Who do you think will vote?

If it is not more than half of the UK Parliament voting for that, then it does not matter.

You are intentionally misunderstanding yet again, it requires no votes to do the no deal Brexit, that is the default, it requires votes to delay or prevent Brexit from happening.

I know you believe that people will step up and vote to delay it, and that might happen, but you aren't furthering the conversation by intentionally misunderstanding or misrepresenting what people are saying.

Which is why they would delay the default position... It’s not as popular as you make it seem within the U.K. parliament.

    Laughable all together.
In the meantime that May has been wasting her time the EU has made a new trade deal with Japan that will bring 8 billion euro gains in exports
German cars exports to the UK has been already down by 3% last year while exports to china and usa up by 11% and 5%. VWs has a new huge factory built in Tenessee.

The EU doesnt need the UK but the UK needs the EU.

    LOL now THAT'S absolutely laughable.

You can disagree with what representatives from the German auto industry have said if you like, but suggesting that the UK needs the EU? C'mon, Greece needs the EU, the UK does not need the EU. Again, the UK is a global powerhouse economically, they'll be fine outside of the EU just like Japan is fine being outside the EU.

Given that many of the countries that matter inside the EU would suffer without trade deals with the UK, there's no chance that those deals wouldn't get done....and done quickly. Germany is not going to just stop exporting cars to the UK.....and if they did, Japan and the US would absolutely love filling that void.

The ammendment has already been given to the speaker. There will be voting for no deal brexit on march 29 or postponement.
Cant be more clear than that.

May has no power to ignore the parliament like Trump. If the parliament votes for postponement if she chooses to ignore it she will be forced to resign or get canned.

She DOES NOT have the power anymore to run down the clock.

We also profited from the trade deal with Canada and it took 7 years. Your point?

You are delusional beyond any measure to believe that the EU will get something done quickly in case of no deal.
At most for humanitarian reasons we will send them food and medicines.

That vote is for postponement, not for no deal Brexit. The no deal Brexit is the default.

No deal Brexit will be the default if on December 2019 they still havent managed to have a withdrawal agreement and if they dont vote again for postponement.

I dont know whats so hard to understand. If Boyles MP amendment passes they wont exit the eu on march 29. They could do absolutely nothing after this and they wont exit until after 9 months.
