Considering the Mavs have Rondo, the Rockets and Mavs need to sign an Anti-Intentional Foul Accord -- sort of like how all the nations after World War 1 made agreements not to use Chemical Weapons anymore.

In other words, terrible free throw shooters are like Nuclear Weapons, if both sides have them, then things will probably be fine (or they'll be so cataclysmically bad that everyone in the world dies).

So, here's to the Clippers beating the Spurs in the first round, eh?

The official rule does not have a time limit, but it is up to the ref to determine if the player immediately makes an effort to enter the court.

The penalty is loss of possession

This is the best analogy I've seen so far. The Rockets are leading in the arm race.

But then dirk and his counterparts will start complaining about the shotgun we use in the trenches, in which is Dwight Howard, as being unfair and too powerful.

Poor Free throw shooting and McHale's poor adjustments on the fly will be Rockets downfall.

You cant afford to miss too many FTs in playoff games. To afford it, you have to be beating your opponent by a large margin and that's not happening in the West.

    Just keepin it real.
