The White House blocked it, not sure why it matters, impeachments have always had new witnesses in the senate.

Not that any of this matters, the Democrats proved their case, he did a Quid Pro Quo. The process, even if you disagree with it, does not make him suddenly innocent and he's not.

It's amazing that when this all started we were told that there wasn't a quid pro quo...and suddenly that can't be denied any more and now we are talking about the process and if it is impeachable.

    That didn't happen
And if it did, it wasn't that bad...

And... MM and the GOP leadership are too smart to not know this. Which lead me to think....

1- it was a defensive play. There was an actual possibility that enough GOP senators turn on trump which would move the base (these guys know exactly how damning the evidences are). They absolutely cannot lose any of their base and the risk was high enough.

2- win now and go into full war (propaganda) mode. The GOP house was already there. When things continue to come out, there is little option left for these senators but to play the propaganda game. But this time, it’s not to maintain the base but to hold the center.

Bottom line, the middle doesn’t matter if the base starts to crack. And of course, if the base starts to crack, they have already lost the center. They plan to lie their way out of this and maintain the center.

Reminder, trump was impeached for obstruction of justice and abuse of power and here is the blocking and redaction of written proof he did the latter and in itself proves the former.

What evidence came out of Bidens mouth?

And you have yet to acknowledge that things and courts are much more partisan than in the time of Nixon.

What do you think that is proof of?

Why do you think that was corrupt?

Yeah, reasonable take on current events from a reasonable conservative. But wait...
I guess she can't get over Hillary's 2016 loss. She's just "whiny" when talking about the rule of law and the constitution of our country.

If it's not clear enough, I've said it before. Trump operates the same scheme that kept his good friend, Jeffrey Epstein scot-free.

It caught up to Epstein in the end. Who knows who was behind his demise. Trump? The Royals? The Clintons?

Maybe it'll catch up to Trump, in some way, too.

ernst looked into the camera and said she doesn't think Trump would push a foreign government to investigate a political opponent again.

They know they are the minority party and it is getting worse, once they lose power they probably will never see it again.

They won't. Without structural reforms in our Senate and elections, we are on track for a minority of Americans to wield power over the vast majority. It is absurd that eight senators from North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana represent fewer people and have more electoral weight than just the city of Los Angeles. The structure of the Senate will continue to allow for a shrinking rural population to hold the rest of us hostage.
