You seem to forget he was still the leading scorer in the nba last year.

A-Train’s post is right on the money ~ unfortunately the money he’s using is the Nigerian pound.

Say what you want about this trade, but there are three good reasons that the Rockets needed this change:

    1. Stevie is not a point guard.

Stevie has always been a 2 guard in a point guard's body. He has never the instincts that a true point guard should possess.

    2. Tracy is a true shooting guard.

He will do his job, shooting the ball. I think everyone here can agree that Tmac is definitely an upgrade from Cat.

    3. Yao's development will continue to improve when the Rockets have a true point guard who knows how to run an offense.

A true point guard will utilize the role players in order to open up the offense and create easier shots for Yao and Tmac. The Rockets will continue to work this off season to acquire a deeper bench. The best scenario in my opinion would be to sign Fisher. The guy is a winner and a seasoned Vet not yet over the hill.

A-Train, you're like the Dennis Rodman of this BBS...doing everything possible just to try to attract attention.

Ah, A-Trai, the balance of Voices, the opposite, the essence of democracy. Enjoy reading your post as always. They are bitter, but have wisdom within. Keep it up.

I somewhat agree with A-Train i really am not thrilled about this trade although i wouldn't say it is terrible.

What scares me the most is injury. How many games did McGrady miss last year? After what happened with Orlando and Grant Hill.

Exactly... In terms of impact of the zone on a player, what about the impact to SF3? I think the zone affected him since it cut off a lot of his lanes to the basket.

If memory servers me correct A-Train started this who set of opposite quotes and conundrums way back.

I recall him mentioning that everything he says and does the opposite happens to the Rockets.

My memory could be way off, but when I read his negative comments I think he feels the opposite.

Does no one else remember this?

    - So you're saying if we traded for Duncan, TD should defer to Yao???? McGrady is a top 5 talent in the NBA, Yao defers to him. Case Closed.

-Just like Cato was known to pre-JVG era? We don't have Rudy anymore ;)

-The Zone affected him more than any other player???? Even though he's won the scoring title two years running???

For your first post being back, that was terrible.

    Awesome post, Mr. Clutch!

Once upon a time, A-Train was one of the funniest and best posters here. Now, I don't know what happened to him, but it is like he got tired of being funny and decided he wanted to be "someone" else...really sad that he decided to do that.

All of you people who have been pining for him to come back - I hope you enjoyed his "comeback post", as it was certainly worth the wait!

I think we can't really lose with T-mac, he has all the qualities of Francis and some. First of all you have his height in which he is taller in his position than Francis, then you have his Athleticism, I think it equals steves, his youth, his natural talent and bball iq, etc, etc.

I mean you talk about him being a whiner and not having the right attitude, but look at what happened to Wallace when he moved to the pistons. His whole demeanour is changing under a system that better suits him.

I'm a big fan of Francis, but happy to have TMac on the team.happy to have TMac on the team.

A-Train... man oh man, A-Train is back.

I am happy because he finally couldn't hold it any more and broke out of his betting crap and not keeping a meaningless promise. I am glad for you, man.

I was about to write an "A-Train, we need you!!!!!" thread to ask for your come back, so you can dump more frustration on the big ass Weisbrod with us.

Now you are back, but after the trade, by starting a thread like this??????

Can we trade A-Train to some other BBS? I'm talking to 4 or 5 teams who are interested.
