The "Philadelphia Eagles" of OOTP wish to rekindle the winning ways and interrogate these players....

    "Junior" Jimmy "Brigade" Sevigny

    Sean "Bateman" Douglass

    Steve "Jason" Colyer

The "Eagles" also wish to offer....

The Great Anaheim Wakefield, Chris Bootcheck 500k for 2

And may the rest of ootp occupy this thread.

Why in the world would you want to resign a guy that batted a paltry .161 and had an OPS of .536??!!

Sevigny asks for $2,740,000 for 3 years, and is fairly adamant that he receive every penny of it, according to the negotiation team.

Sean Douglass gave not even a ballpark figure of what he wanted, but looks like he'll sign for around $4,500,000 for 3.

Steve "Gosh, I hope I make free agency so the Pirates can make me a rich man" Colyer would probably stick around Los Angeles for about $2,500,000 for 3.

Chris Bootcheck, made irritable by his inflamed tricep muscle, scoffs at your $500K for 2 offer, wordlessly pointing to the "$980,000 - 2 years" sign that he brought with him. Might be able to talk him down to around $750K or so once the injury heals.

Dunno about you Manny, but I'd sure want to keep a guy that hit 42 homers the year before. Obviously Jimmy was far too close to ascertaining the meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything, and so the powers that be decided to punish him with an off-year.

    Re-signings(in order of priority)

    1) Kotchman
    2) Wells
    3) Mantei
    4) Stone
    5) Jimenez
    6) Lidge

Let me know what each guy wants and I'll let you know if that is ok.

I resign from Cleveland Indians. I guess this is as good a thread as any to put it in, although for those in chat yesterday it would be nothing new.

Hopefully 'we' will still have a good team with the assistant running things.

    (=Indians=)

Poor Heath, didn't know what to do since he's not going to have all that cash to spend in free agency. ;)

Seriously though, I hate to see you go. I agree with Manny, I'm sure you'll be back.

However it does provide temporary relief for those owners that planned on going after some good free agents. :)

Kotchman wants $8,130,000 for 3 years. Didn't try to negotiate with him at all.

Wells wants a hell of a pay cut. $1,250,000 for 4 years.

Mantei wanted an offer and I was surprised to find that he was ok with $500,000 for 2 years.

Stone wants $3,210,000 for 3 years.

    D'Angelo wants $4,040,000 for 3 years.

Lidge wanted an offer and was okay with $400,000 for 3.

See if Kotchman will take 6 for 4
If he will sign him at that.
Sign Mantei, Lidge,Wells. Let Jimenez and stone walk.
