Actually Anheuser-Busch's product dates back to 1876, yet the Czech variety was started in 1895, so really the American version is the original Budweiser between the two, although I know that the word Budweiser means beer in the area around the Czech brewery. ;)

    My beer list:

    Domestic:
    Shiner Blonde
    Miller Lite

    Foreign:
    Paulaner

The Budweiser in Czech Republic is called Budvar, or at least it was back in 94 when I was there.

I have a question. I used to drink Shiner a lot back in the day when I lived in Texas. I see everybody listing Shiner Bock. Didn't know there was such a thing.

My question is, all you guys who like Shiner Bock, is it anything like Michelob Amber Bock?

Chimay... all the rest just suck. A Red will cost you 10.50 at sherlocks and 6 bucks at the flying saucer, but it's damn worth it. You can pick up the large bottle at Randalls for about 6 bucks, I suggest you try it.

i love all these froofy beers people throw down to show how cultured they are. I give two sh!ts what kind of beer I'm drinking. I think most of the micro and import stuff tastes like armpits and a-holes.

    Of coors that's just me...

Yeah, but you put Corona and Corona Light as 2 of your top 5 import beers, so your tastes may differ from those of us who like our beers dark and thick.

However...I dont give a rats ass what beer I am drinking either, especially since I grew up on Pabst, Beast, and Lone Star.

But I prefer Guinness above all other beers. So tasty.

I can't believe no one's spoken up for the Brooklyn Brewery family of beers, Brooklyn Lager and the others.

Their East India Pale Ale is a demon. I can normally drink pretty much an unlimited amount of domestic beers, but four or five of those will basically incapacitate you.

Guinness, of course, properly stored and poured, is by a far distance the world's best beer.
