Not agreeing with the actions of your government is not being against the U.S., in fact it is exactly what America stands for. The day we can't disagree with our government is the day America is dead.
see,...I disagree...Communism IS VERY UN-AMERICAN! Reason is the opposition of the way of life. Say "NO" to a communist way of life...Other countries, yes, but being a communist country is NOT what America was conjured up to being by our forefathers,...so it is unfathomable to think otherwise...Communism is against the ideals/merits of the the U.S. Government, ...so without a doubt, to say communism is un-American is definite...
True, agree...disagree, that is a part of what America stands for...BUT...BUT...when you want to change what America stands for...That in essence is un-American...
ROXRAN, stop being such a neo-scaredy cat; when are you and the rest of the neo-fifth columnists going to recommence your campaign of attacks on federal buildings and Olympic parties that you started 10 years ago? I think this is a great topic to DEBATE and DISCUSS and can't understand why anybody wouldn't want to respond to it, considering the moderation that I have excercised in fingering these traitors for everybody. I don't understand how anybody could just dismiss it out of hand.
ROXRAN, you used to seem much more level headed about things. The stuff you have been posting lately is just bizarre; even for a Bush extremist. I hope you are sitting at home laughing at posting these articles as a joke for the reactions they evoke. If not, have you recently suffered head trauma?
Communism doesn't change what America stands for. It changes an economic system, not our democracy, or individual rights.
Jesus christ FB. If you don't want to discuss/debate with an idiot who posted some incendiary bull****, than don't. I mean, it's not that hard.
The Communists' chief purpose is to destroy every form of independence--independent work, independent action, independent property, independent thought, an independent mind, or and independent man. Conformity, alikeness, servility, submission and obedience are necessary to establish a Communist slave-state. From: Screen Guide for Americans, quoting Ayn Rand in Plain Talk, Nov. 1947, p. 41 ...Sorry far leftys...Communism DOES change what America stands for. I enjoy my rights. thank you
You and Mizzzzzz Rand are both wrong. Try reading the communist party's own literature instead of Ayn Rand's view on what she thinks they are trying to do. I believe people actually involved in the communist party might have a clearer idea of their goals, than someone far removed from it. By the way given her background and experiences I would think she was talking about Soviet Communism, as opposed to the communist party in the U.S. Sorry, Roxran, the communist party of the United States does not want to change what America stands for.
ROXRAN, can you provide a single quote from the article in which the "far-left" activists you are smearing said anything even remotely unpatriotic? The plain fact is that the author took some Iraqi quotes and, as a result of the activists meeting with those people, turned it into the activists agreeing with every single statement. By that logic, the Bush administration must even more fully support those statements since they set up the very government that the quoted officials now run.
It depends on just what you consider to be "unpatriotic",...Anything subjective is open to opinion. But...But what is objective is a measure and contrast of Capitalism versus Communism...The distinction of rights and how individual rights are allocated comprises what America stands for...The affliation of the aforementioned gang with the mindset is in itself un-American by virtue of affliation on that alone...Now, ask yourself what good and what purpose is it to go there as representatives of the un-American mindset with the apparent accord of agreeing with those that agree with the terrorists...? and don't fool yourself, agree they did... It makes no sense. I just want to know if this is the mindset of the far left, then that pulls me further to the right...demmit! As you know I'm liberal on many domestic issues, but right on national and personal defense,...Why? because of this kind of crapfest as represented by the far left...Why can't you liberals field a real democrat of yore like Truman, who clearly realized the threat of communism instead of the neo-demo types?
You are very, very wrong...those communists abhor the Capitalist system inherent in the founding of America...Capitalism is what America has been about, stands for,...and what makes this country great...It has allowed people to be great, I dare say...
Roxie, If you can spare the time from wanking off to the latest issue of Soldier of Fortune, why don't you cite examples from the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, or the Bill of Rights that support this absurd assertion. If capitalism was so integral in the foundation of the US, it should be easy to find supporting references in our nation's most important founding documents.
