No, and we can't even make jokes about them. I tried and was instructed by R2K to return to my own thread. Apparently, our very own teabagger (isn't he cute) is setting the rules of civility on the board. (LOf*kingL)

Meanwhile, it seems Tom Tomorrow has scored the first known picture of thumbs to appear on this site.

He is pretty much exactly quoted in the first panel of that strip.

I hope the cable/network media pounces on this article and runs with it. I know most people have their minds made up but I would think anyone on the fence who may still think teabaggers have anything on their mind other than hate and obstruction should see the light after hearing this.

    ORLY??

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=174589&page=10&pp=20

I intervened to stop YET ANOTHER thread derail in which yall couldnt seem to keep from arguing with giddyup about something totally unrelated to the thread matter.

Ill admit I spend most of my posts in here making fun of idiots, but when I do bother to mod in here, you could at least recognize it isnt personal.

No offense intended, but it's hard for me to believe anybody's really moderating this forum anymore with some of the stuff's that's been posted over the last few months and not been policed in any way. I've said some out of control stuff in response, but it's been out of utter frustration that such incredible trolling was allowed. And then I get told to take uncivil conversation to another thread. Whatever. I should really just stop reading and posting here. The rest of the site is well moderated, but this forum was bad for my blood pressure before the mods started ignoring it.

It's incredible that any of you guys complain about "poo-flinging" with some of the stuff you all allow to go on in here. I like all of you guys, but if this forum's a mess it's because blatant trolling goes unpunished. Plain and simple.

I thought I explained very clearly why I requested you cease the stupid OFF TOPIC argument with giddyup in this thread.

are you being intentionally obtuse or do I need to clarify further?

I may not see offtopic poo flinging every time it happens as I dont spend every waking moment in here....but when I do see it, I will speak up.

now....I dont actually have to explain this, but I will for the sake of folks understanding where I am coming from,

As for your complaint over the moderating (or lack thereof) take it up with guys who actually have moderating powers in here....I dont. If I see something that goes against forum guidelines I will warn and/or request compliance with those guidelines and if the offender chooses to ignore me, then they risk having to deal with Jeff or Clutch. Consider me the early warning system.
As this forum is intended for the kind of crap we dont want in other forums, the rules over inflammatory posts are much more relaxed.....either deal with it the way it is, or dont come in......you damn well already know this, constant jabs over us not moderating to your liking isn't gonna change that aspect of this craphole.

now, if you dont mind....Id rather get back to my normal M.O. thank you very much

But... but... aren't the last four posts arguing that's unrelated to this thread?

    Just sayin'. ;)

I understand your angst, but you are not doing the Tea Party movement a service with some of your really angry posts, not only here but in other threads. I've drifted away from this thread because, much to my chagrin, it has devolved into the Roman Circus arena. But, if you want to ultimately triumph, be a Christian -- not one of the lions. Use your head and heart, not your spleen. Okay? Thanks.
