Mavs always have trouble with Houston. Maybe its the Rocket's quickness.

Mavs will be w/o Finley. . . . and Buckner. . . . Adrian Griffin will have to play major minutes. . . . Nash and Hardaway will likely play together a lot.

As Dirk goes, so go the Mavs tonight!

Indeed. The Mavs is Dirk's team now. I could only imagine how many games the Mavs would lose without him. Also, when he isn't feeling well, the Mavs ALWAYS lose. They never win when he doesn't contribute in a meaningful way.

The actual differance in last night's game may have been lil' Donnie's decision to bring much-maligned Bradley into the game. He has been in daddy's dog house, but the Mavs really do need his interior defense if they r goin' 2 make it past the first round.

ps: did anyone see Steve Francis ruffle Steve Nash's hair after the outcome had been decided? What was THAT all about??

THAT was about the foul Stevie gave to nash at the end of the game to put the mavs at the line. It looked a little rough so I guess The Franchise wanted to show the canadien there were no hard feelings.
