I don't have problems remembering what I sign up for since they send an email monthly when a charge is applied. In some cases, I try to use PayPal if possible and after signing up for a free or discounted month, I immediately cancel. Sometimes you can get another free month or discount for another month when you do that, too. If you don't know or forget what you have, you're basically falling into that subscription trap where everything individually is just $x, but combined they're $xxx monthly. Don't be that guy!
