Yep, I’m aware of that. Germany had to restart some coal plants due to the energy shortage. The EU Omnibus Package doesn’t address Germany’s reliance on Russian gas or its shift to coal during the energy crisis. It focuses more on simplifying regulations, especially for smaller companies, by reducing requirements and narrowing the scope for larger ones. It doesn’t seem to cause significant harm to the environment or substantially increase greenhouse gas emissions, and it mainly deals with greenhouse emissions as a correction to previous overzealous regulations.
C'mon man. This is such a lazy argument. Tesla ain't the only EV game in town. Though many who might want to sell their Heil-slas are finding that the resale value has tanked...but they're still getting what they can to by Polestars, Hyundai's, etc.
