I keep having kids so I can’t limit my activities based on their lives. They gotta grow up eventually. I’ll be here when you’re ready, fam.

The ones I work with are exactly this way. they get their stuff done for sure but they don't prioritize work in their life the same way the boomers or gen x people at the job do, and it drives those generations mad. millenials can go either way because we are in the same boat as gen z in a lot of ways but didnt stand up for ourselves as well as they're doing now, but trying to catch up with them

I RESPECK them. I also feel sorry for them because their fashion trends and food habits have evolved away from that of the "artisan" millennial -- and they think they're COOL and SMART for it. When in reality.... they're too poor to afford quality.

Your kid doesn’t count, they had you raising them

Most have no idea how to interact or talk outside of text/social media.

they can’t hold a job to save their lives

The idea they had it so bad growing up is hilarious. Prior to covid (when they were in high school or even in college) they had it good. The idea that we evaluate them on economic hardships just right now is flawed

They're feeling the brunt of a reset that never happened during the GFC.

It's just been a long drawn out asset fueled frenzy (financialization over real productivity gains) to keep boomer retirement and pension funds fat until those geezers wind it down completely.

People who are born right now could have a better shot at the old American Dream, but who knows what that'll look like when they reach working age.

The boomer's end will not begin the dawn of a new generation flourishing. They will not transfer their wealth, they will use all of it to keep themselves alive for as long as possible and when their money runs out, then they die.

Social Security will be gone. Private equity will own all the businesses, houses and industry. Politicians will all be purchased.

    GOOD LUCK

It's not gonna be easy when it happens, but a lot of the rulings that enabled the Golden Age of White Collar Crime can be overruled in a different court.

Millennials might pull a boomer and go full-on **** you pay me when they're geriatric and in power, but who really knows.

Don't know if each gen is more narcissistic as time passes, but the youngins talk a better game for sharing and fairness.

We need another Teddy Roosevelt type who carried with conservative vibes but used it to break up the rot festering at the top.

I just looked on Zillow. Tons of houses for sale. Might be a good time to pick up a few houses if you really feel that way.

I've owned, own and sold rentals. I'm on a different kick right now but do keep an eye open on prices and inventory. I concentrate more now on making money off businesses that service homes. GOOD LUCK

My bad, let me bend over, shut up and take my medicine. If only my generation knew how to write a check I could send my money DIRECTLY to Israel.

It's totally ****ing comical how you confuse people, and ages, yet still have it all figured out.

I want to have drinks and dinner with you and yours.

Do you ever have anything positive to say? Or do you only lash out on these forums?

We don't do Chili's. But thanks for the offer. And no offense to @LonghornFan who works at Chili's.

Haven't been to my local Chili's in 5+ years. Only thing I've ordered there are the Southwestern Eggrolls, which are great. River City Grill next door has a better deck overlooking the lake, and better food. Haven't been there in ages either.

Btw, you can scratch the Old 300 BBQ joint in Blanco off your list of "need to go" places. It was perfectly ok, but there's better ones around.
