That's a stupid question for any RPG... :D

j/k. Dispel spells, well, dispell spells on either yourself or an NPC. If somebody casts something on you that hinders you, you can cast a dispel on yourself and there's a chance that the spell the NPC cast on you will be... dispelled. :)

I believe that is one of the objects you can not duplicate.

I just found a good use for a house.

If you are in a dungeon and people with nice but heavy armor are dead all over it can take you trip after trip to cart it all out and get your money.

If you have a house in the town you are selling and a storage kit from the supplier(in Imperial city you can get it all together for under 3000) then you can store your excess stuff at your house, and carry out the loot from the dungeon to sell much faster.

When I was fully equipped with back up weapons, etc. I was only able to carry one Ebony Cuirass and one pair of orc boots at a time. There were bodies everywhere, and with Ebondy Claidmores and cuirasses weighing me down, it would have taken me all night long to get the stuff and sell it.

But I bought a hovel, and storage set up. I put my spare bow, two spare swords, potions, alchemy gear, ingrediants, staffs, all in storage. Instead of being able to carry 80 pounds, I could carry almost 300 pounds at a time. It was a huge help.

Are any of you guys enchanting weapons or making custom spells? If so, what are some of your favorite ones you've made?

    Storage kit?

Well, I'm having a hard time finding more quests. I mean, there are still other guilds, but I thought there would be tons more quests from NPCs in the towns. One thing I haven't noticed is coming accross people on the roads who need help.

I guess I'm kinda confused... can't you just throw all your crap on the ground in your house? That's what I've been doing. :D Or do you mean something else?

If you go to a certain merchant in thr town where you have a house, you can by amenities for your house(storage, dining area, living area, etc.). One of them provides a crap load of storage chests in your house. You can use that to store your excess gear or other stuff you want to keep.

Yeah, I bought some of that stuff, but I guess I never really needed storage yet... maybe in the future I will. I just make multiple trips. I also learned feather and fortify strength spells to bump up my strength when needed. Also created 2 rings via enchantment with Feather spells on them to lighten the load on the trip back.

I have the feather spell but I am not high enough in that type of magic to use it yet.

Yeah I am still working my way through the mage guild quests so I can enchant at will. As soon as I can those are some of my priorities.

If you are a member of a guild, can't you just store all your stuff in a chest in one of the guild halls?

    Or does it disappear?

I have had trouble finding some weapons that I dropped off in guild chests, better to just drop it on the ground there, but it starts to pile up. I also stored some things in the Blades chests at their fort/temple, but they vanished too.

I had to buy a house to store my stuff at. Eventhough my weight can hold up to 405 I am always picking up stuff. I have a TON of stuff in the cabinets of my house.

I am 33 hours in and am still a lowly lvl 12. :(

I enchanted 2 rings, one necklace, and a cuirass, and grieves with 20% cameleon each.

With that outfit on, I'm basically invisible to everybody.

I don't think it stays around... either that or it's not safe. The only true safe storehouse I know of (that isn't a bug) is your house.

I'm still working on access to the Arcane university so I haven't enchanted anything yet. I have a wish list of items I would like to enchant of course.

I did finally get my first Daedra armor and long sword. I am going to try and find a mod to make it so that it doesn't look so evil though.

Has anyone been using their summons as a training dummy? I guess that's cheezing, but it helps round out your skills....

It vanishes probably the same time they restock on food. I lost alot of good stuff there.

Yup! I have... I seriously don't think it's as "cheez" as an exploit. For example, I don't think it's a bug and I don't think it's abusing the system. The system allows for the summoned creature to get pissed at you if you hit it 3 or more times. It reacts. It does damage. So heck yeah, you should get credit for that encounter.

You can summon a creature, piss it off and let it beat the crap out of you and your armor skills go up. I could probably level all the way to 100 in a few of the skills without ever leaving town. lol.

Dang... I came into this dungeon with just plain non-enchanted Orcish armor. I did it so I could get hit, increase my heavy armor skill and also repair and increase my armorer skill since I can't repair enchanted armor yet.

Let's just say I now understand why Will o' Wisps are some of the most hated enemies in this game. It's like they don't belong at this level. One is tough enough, but when they're twins... ouch.
