EG stated that he had "personal family problems" and to speculate beyond that is WAY too presumptuous and simply not fair to this very young professional athlete. It's none of our business what his issues are and if JVG feels that this is a blip and a situation that can be remedied and has publically stated that EG's a very important part of what's going on with this team, then why blow this out of proportion? Has is ever occurred to many of you that EG could be emotionally devasted by whatever family issue he's dealing with and he just needs some time to get things in perspective?. He's a human being before being a Houston Rocket and we should give him the support he needs to be the best player that he can be, and in time I believe many of you will eat your words. Life is so much bigger than the NBA.... I'm down with Eddie....
The other mix very well could have resulted in the Rockets not getting Ming. That being said, I would take EG smoke and all!
Get the dude on some PROZAC for chrissake. Dude always looks like he is 10 seconds from slitting his wrists.......
I think it speaks volumes that a poll like the one below is even being posted on the Houston Rockets official website at www.rockets.com How should the Rockets handle the Eddie Griffin situation? He should be allowed to come back soon but only if he apologizes to the team 48% He shouldn't be allowed to return to the team 16% He deserves punishment but not that severe 14% His suspension should run well into the season 13% He's just a kid, the Rockets were too harsh on him 9% Total Responses: 1276
