    Here is how you fix it.

    1. You give 2k a month to each adult
    2. You suspend any Mortgage and rent payments
    3. You suspend any utility payments, or car payments, or Credit card payments
    4. Once this is past, you turn them all back on

    People need to eat and to live and to know they are not going to be evicted.

    It basically puts businesses and people into stasis, no recurring charges, no late fees, we just pause.......

    Can’t wait to go to the gas station to fill up my car. I am about to make money. In all seriousness this is going to kill a lot of energy companies. How many will survive you have to wonder. The scary part is there no storage places for this oil. Companies are literally renting out oil tankers to store them out at sea. I could see an environmental disaster coming. Plus how many of the bad actors would try and dump the oil at sea rather than pay for storage on those tankers.

    I figured the negative price has to do with storage. Coffers are full and they're still producing. They have to clear storage space

    Maybe they should build up storage capacity. Get people to work and at the same time increase the oil reserves basically at like nothing cost. And in the future make a profit. Win win. Get people to work. Increase the readiness in an event where we might need the oil or sell it off for a great price in the future. This is a no lose proposition which means it won’t happen.

    They should arbitrage the prices instead of renting it. Too bad government doesn't have the authority do it and biz won't like it.
