So Glad I became a Rockets Fan!!!

I am from Alabama and we have no pro NBA team. I started following the Rockets the year they drafted Yao. I was a Jordan fan in the 90s and loved the Bulls, after he left I wanted to get behind a team and that became the Rockets. Mostly because I hate Kobe and the Lakers and Yao and the Rockets was kind of the opposite. Yao was all class, He would help his teammates up off the floor, he was a team player, and as JVG said he was one of the only players that was more happy about his teammates success than his very own. Saying that I suffered though all the lows with this team the last 10 years. From getting screwed by the Refs with the BS Pick calls on Yao against the Mavs(we would have went to the WC Finals with that 2005 team), to all the McGrady and Yao injuries. Plus striking out on free agents like Bosh and Howard already refusing to be traded here. The only bright spot was winning that playoff series against the Blazers with Yao and then he broke his foot. So that was short lived. Anyway all of this has made these moves this past year that much sweeter. We have the best SG in the NBA and he is young. We have talented role players from the draft and scouting and low contracts that can compete at a high level. Now we have the best big man in the game since Yao and the most scarce position and we took him from the most hated franchise to help them crumble to the ground!!! Thank you Daryl Morey for truly being a great GM and the rest of the Rockets organization. This is what happens when you have the best management and ownership. Glad to be Rockets fan and today these last 10 years have been totally worth it.
