The Lakers facilitating a superteam in GSW through a sign & trade? Unlikely due to: 1. Intra-division rivals 2. Los Angeles / Bay Area rivalry 3. Jerry West and the perception of the LAL helping him in GSW
The flight and original plane ownership info is legit. The question I have is whether Alexander inherited the plane as part of his taking over the Rockets or if he and the Schnitzer son have an arrangement whereby Les has access to the plane.
nets aren't a "super team" pierce and kg are on the way down/out. lakers have zero obligation to Dwight, kg an peirce won the celtics a championship.
DH will choose Houston If Golden State trade Bogut + klay + barnes to the lakers for Howard + Steve nash The Warrios starting lineup looks great DH David Lee Iggy Curry Nash But the future doesn't look good. David Lee and nash are overpaid and nash and Iggy are old. DH will choose Houston
GSW also giving up their 2014 1st and is locked into the cap soooo ... what they got is what they got. Maybe it looks good, but good enough?

Leslie better go Godfather on Dwight. "Either your brains or your signature will be on that contract.'

A source tells CBS that the Warriors believe free agent Dwight Howard is bound for Houston. Despite giving Andre Iguodala $48 million Friday, the Warriors could still carve out a sign-and-trade with the Lakers. They'd likely be giving up Andrew Bogut's $14 million expiring contract plus one of Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson. Of course, that all will mean nothing if Howard decides he wants to play for the Rockets. Houston has enough cap space to sign him to a max deal outright. Jul 5 - 4:50 PM
We should sign someone for a 1 year deal to stop Dwight from using the rockets. Give the lakers leverage. I would rather see him on the mavs to be honest. Truth is they are too old and by the time they get a real team around dwight he will be well in his thirties at the end of his contract. The last thing we need is a new powerhouse in the west: Curry Thopson Iggy Lee Howard They have scoring, shooting, defense, rebounding, and a solid bench.
Also if Dwight does go to GSW, **** the Kings too. They could have signed him and pulled their deal off the table.
