And LAL is going to help to create a powerhouse in their own back yard (division)? Can only see Dwight in GS if GS unloads Bogut/Clay to another team and gets back nothing in return to create the cap space to sign Dwight outright.
I think those whispers about dwight joining houston was just dwight and his club using the rockets to force a sign and trade to GS. LETS SIGN JOSH SMITH TO SCREW HIM OVER!

If he surprised the masses and chose the Warriors, they could only land him if they were able to execute a sign-and-trade with the Lakers in order to do so. While the Lakers are under no obligation to cooperate, Howard has the possible leverage that comes with the idea that he could simply threaten to go to the Houston Rockets instead and leave them with the idea that they lost him for nothing in return.
If Dwight really wants GS, it's up to the Lakers to decide if they want to trade, and set a precedent for future star FAs.
Im so confused right now. Maybe he means, the Rockets are going to S&T for Aldridge, than sign Dwight outright to counter GSW. Howard Aldridge Parsons Harden Bev Title contender.

With the Warrior trade to the Jazz, dont the warriors get a huge trade exception worth of 20+ million? Can they trade that along with Barnes, and Thompson is needed to the Lakers for Howard. That's awfully tempting
No way we get LMA without giving up a crap ton. And a trade with either team wouldn't make much sense
Nope. Rockets aren't looking for no role players man. We'll just sit back and wait for the next guy to fall from a tree.
Maybe the Rockets will facilitate another deal where they give up valuable assets, the superstar goes to a rival and they end up with Pau.
I think it's time we pull the trigger on something, either LMA or Josh Smith. It seems to me like Dwight hasn't made up his mind yet, and the Warriors have been working on things to seem more attractive to Dwight. We should follow suit.
