Calm down guys. There is no way the Lakers would allow D12 to stay in state with GSW. They'd be the laughing stock of the league. Kobe would go bonkers. And to think they'd do this all for Harrison Barnes? I doubt it. Not with the 2014 draft being as stacked as it will be. GSW has made brilliant moves, but they're devoid of draft picks, and LA will seek a lot in return. Much more than GSW will be willing to give up.
The Warriors traded Jefferson, Rush, Beidrens and a 1st rounder along with a few future picks for the 47th pick in the draft? Really? If they don't get Howard it will all blow up in their face.
Well true with iggy now warriors talent blows us out, we have to get Smith IMO. We can S&T for smith RIGHT now and still offer Howard near max later. We should go for it.

Can't they unload Bogut & Barnes on a willing team and then have that capspace to sign Dwight outright? Like as a last resort scenario if Lakers don't want to deal?
Man I wish we had a camera in Rockets offices, Those guys have to be sweatin' balls. This is like this biggest roller coaster you can ride sitting in your computer chair. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Guys yall are acting like GSW just signed someone that makes the Houston roster irrelevant... This is Iggy we are talking about... Houston With or without dwight still looks better than what GSW will be after they gut their roster. Jack carried that team in playoffs at times.
Can't say I agree. Lin/Beverly < Curry Harden > Thompson Parsons > Iggy (yes at this stage of their respective careers I believe Parsons is better than Iggy.) Smith (if we get him) < Lee

No. Dwight's losing a hell of a lot money if he goes to GS. And GS just crippled their future by giving up multiple first round picks. Curry has glass ankles, lakers won't deal with them. Just don't see Dwight picking them.
I don't. Golden State officials even believe Dwight has picked the Rockets AFTER landing Iggy. An hour ago, the basketball writer for the Milwaukee bucks tweeted that Howard was coming to Houston. Now because of this deal, you and the rest of the board are having convulsions. You are insane if you think the lakers will create a Curry, Thompson, Iggy, Lee, Howard team in their own division and state, regardless of paying the tax or not. They would rather take Asik from the Rockets than do that, easily.
Hmm Biedrins and Jefferson traded for picks means that GSW get a 20 million trade exception?? or was it a 3 team deal and they get an 8 million (sans Iggy contract) http://hoopshype.com/salaries/golden_state.htm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_salary_cap#Traded_Player_Exception
As repeated ad nauseam, if Howard wanted houston, he would have said so by now...seems obvious he's waiting for dust to clear to go to Oakland.
