Klay Thompson isn't even as good as Jeremy Lin. Harden is better than Curry. Harden + Parsons >>> Curry + Thompson
Nothing is obvious. Calm the hell down. Also, your last paragraph is one of the more ridiculous things I've seen.
Based on what Howard has said in the past I think he'd prefer to play with Curry. Curry controls the ball less and shoots better than Harden. He doesn't attack as much as Harden. Howard creates room for Curry to shoot on the perimeter, Curry opens up room for Howard in the paint. They make each other better. Plus, Howard wants to be the alpha dog, he'd get that in GSW. Here in Houston? Not so sure. Like I said earlier, before GSW seemed like a possibility, if I was Howard I would pick GSW. It's the perfect fit based on what he's been saying the past 2 years.

Who has the better line-up? Lin v Curry = Curry Harden v Thompson = Harden Parsons v Barnes = Parsons Rockets PF v Lee = Lee Asik v Bogut = Asik People are saying GSW have a better roster than HOU?
Again, Dwight cannot get the full max in GState and then gets hit with the Cali tax. The lack of that tax in Texas is a major reason why we can get Dwight because the difference between Dwight's full max in LA and the mini-max in Houston is only about 10 mil. He loses 13% more money from his mini-max deal with GS than in Houston. Why does he do this?
Barnes ain't even all that. Looks like another Richard Jefferson to me. And Klay is just another Kev Martin.
Would honestly not be surprised if this just came down to living in San Francisco vs living in Houston for Dwight. Really frustrating...didn't Rockets hire Dwight's personal trainer from his Orlando days??
Fised that for you. Harden is miles ahead of Curry, and Klay thompson is not a good player, Parsons is better in nearly every statistic. Thomson shoots 42% and his PER is 12.
@BillSimmons 10m Just a friendly reminder that Dwight Howard's prime was 3 years ago. Seems relevant. I'm getting sick of this Dwightmare for the last 2 summers now. It's obvious Houston is not his #1 choice. Golden State is. He's waiting for Golden State to make it happen which is why GSW is moving mountains to get him. Last year Dwight's camp was adamant about not wanting to come here because he didn't want to be living in Houston. If we do get him, what's the over/under that he requests a trade to Brooklyn next summer or around the trade deadline like he did during his Orlando stint?
Golden State finished 6th seed got to second round of playoffs while we took the last three games for granted...
Hakeem predicts 85% chance of landing Howard!!! http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/dai...-houston-rockets-dwight-howard-nba-free-agent
Yeah that worries me too. I'm afraid Dwight is deciding between here and LA, and is afraid of taking heat like Lebron did when he left for Miami. If we don't get a decision by today, I'd put us behind the Lakers in the sweepstakes.
A lot was written about Raef LaFrentz's big expiring contract which was 80% paid for by an insurance co. The Blazers were to meant garner some kind of asset at the trade deadline. The most hopeful of these was a star player being dumped for salary purposes. He went untraded.
Harden was better than Curry by quite a bit in the regular season, ( well at least the first 3/4) but Curry outplayed Harden by a fairly large margin in the postseason. Its a lot closer than some people think. The elephant in the room though is Curry's ankles. They held up one season, but can you risk them holding up another? #DwighttoHouston
