Not necessarily. If Dwight had already decided on Houston, he would still be obligated to meet with the Lakers. The Lakers have been very public about their desire to be the last team Dwight spoke with. They wanted a chance to get the last word in. If Dwight wouldn't even hear them out, it would've reflected very badly on him.
