Exactly. Parsons made an error. It happens.

Howard let his head get out of the game. He might have otherwise prevented that score. That should never happen. In fairness, I'm sure DH would like to have that one back.

Agree. Cp had LMA boxed out. DH was in position to rebound with no other opposing players in sight. Chandler should have let Dwight have the rebound. I hoped he was just reacting instinctively because the only other reason I can think of is he's too concerned about padding his stats.

On a rebound like that they both are suppose to say "same team"

BOTH guys need to play through that, contest the shot by the POR player, then bro-fist and let it go.

Players learn ways to solve problems through their coaching stuff. Did McHale ever take responsibility over any loss? We have a coach that blames others, we will have players doing the same. With team's best players Harden and Howard not liking to take the blame, finger pointing will not stop. And it catches on, look for other players doing the same. This is where veteran leadership is important.

Go look at the play again, neither one could grab it. Mistakes happen on all levels.

It's Parson's fault. That wasn't even a good rebound attempt. Howard was squared up ready to grab it with both hands, while Parsons just came down with one hand and swatted it away.

Now what Howard did wrong is that shouldn't get so worked up. It happens...

This means a lot more to the fans than the players.

I bet these two have moved on from that, this mess happens A LOT in any team sport. It's just a heat of the moment thing. It's not big deal at all.

This doesn't happen a lot players argueing happens a lot not screaming at each other while they get scored on. The play was so akward after that happen dwight didn't even care about the ball. How are you going to lecture Somone and make a bigger mistake letting Somone score.

It's not the first time a ball went out of bounds because of a teammate trying to grab it even though Dwight was in a position to grab it, so I understand the frustration. I doubt this was an argument though. Guys yell at each other all the time during games in the heat of the moment, but afterwards everything's usually fine.

And if you're going to nitpick, both Dwight and Parsons were glaring at each other, and both their body language sucked after that play. Parsons was also playing like crap and kept forcing things. But the thread is all about Dwight since he has a reputation as a cancer who doesn't care about winning.

They both went for the rebound- good.

    Neither got the rebound- bad

They stared at each other while the opponent scores- ugly

Lol are you serious? Dwight definitely had a right to be frustrated there. Parsons just hopped in and knocked out the rebound and gave it to aldridge. Parsons would respond similarly if someone did that to him. Its not a big deal, dwight and parsons are still friends

There was no play for Dwight to make, after it fell in LMA's lap, any play he could have attempted would have just created a foul on LMA.

I've been critical of Dwight so far but I feel that Parsons was in the wrong on that play. He could see Dwight had the rebound so let him get the rebound and go out in transition. That being said I hate how both of them stood there mean mugging and let Aldridge waltz right in for the layup. I agree with the philosophy you let the big get the rebound unless the big is not in position to get the rebound. Dwight was clearly in position so the rebound belonged to him.
