I would love to see Adelman and Olajuwon become friends, if they aren't already, but what I would really like to see is Olajuwon playing defense against Yao in practice 5 on 5.
Mutombo might not be having a positive effect on Yao's inside game. With Mutombo as the only 'big post up against him guy' in practice, Yao is only used to playing against that kind of center. And I think all of us can agree Mutombo is a one of a kind. By playing against Olajuwon, Yao would be going against what could be called him achilles heel, playing against smaller faster players. Olajuwon is probably the closest thing you can get in practice to amare stoudamire, marcus camby, tim duncan etc. . . . keep your fingers crossed.

Yao is getting it!!!! Hakeems Signature fake spin move!!!! Yao just needs to learn how to pivot his foot like Hakeem. Then there would be no more traveling calls.

Dream's gotta work with Yao to help him be more decisive and assertive when he gets the ball on offense. On defense, if Dream can help develop Yao's intuition and feel for coming over to block/change shots, that'd be amazing!

But look, Yao is travelling. You guys think all these traveling calls are a result of his shoes, Maybe he should switch to Nike.

I surely hope this is but the very first of many sessions to come.

But for this specific one, it lasted only 40 minutes...... :(

His right foot is his pivot foot, Yao's spin move has too much momentum causing him to slightly lift his pivot foot, trying doing a spin fake like Yao and u will see what im talking about.

These pictures make me feel happy! I like it. I think I am detoxing from the JVG-induced malaise. :)

Maybe he is pivoting on his left foot to go into the lane for the patented Jump hook?

It's great to see the Dream Again. If Yao could be anything...ANYTHING like Dream. Man. I'd cream myself.

What a trip. He's really teaching Yao. I'm still in awe of the photos. Yao MUST be allowed to train with Dream for at least a couple of weeks. Les should bribe whoever he has to bribe on the Chinese National Team, or whoever controls that team, to get it to happen. Or say whatever sweet words that'll get it done. It'll pay off next season. It would pay off for China at the Olympics. That, and sign Dream to a contract!

    Dream and Yao... Replicant Fantasy!
