In the re-match between Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida V.S Mauricio "Shogun" Rua...WHO WILL WIN?!?!?!?

Can't wait for this fight. I really want Shogun to pull this off but I'm expecting Lyoto to finish this fight within the first two rounds.

In the first fight, Lyoto Machida did not do his homework and Shogun did, and Shogun did a good job dismantling him, but in my opinion, in order to beat a champ, you have to really finish him and not leave it to the judges. This fight I expect Machida to do his homework and he's probably going to win to be in my solid opinion.

I hope this is going to be a great fight and not another decision. I am rooting for Rua but I would be satisfied if it was an all around good match where both guys were aggressive.

This is the stupidest position in MMA.

"Countless fights, including the most recent title fights at LW, WW, MW and LHW go to decision, but to actually win a belt you need to finish!"

That is so stupid. Do you know how difficult it is to finish a fight against top level competition? If a champ knows he only has to avoid a finish to keep his belt you'll see more fights like Silva/Maia. The champ just dancing around avoiding any dangerous situations.

The judges are there for a reason. Outpointing your opponent is a legit way to win in MMA.

BJ Penn did not deserve to lose his belt.......Frankie Edgar dances for 5 rounds and did not convincingly beat BJ. Then again, BJ did not really look like he could catch him and hit him cleanly. If I am a judge I call it a wash.....make them fight 5 more before you take the belt away from BJ.

I am looking hella-forward to the fights this weekend.

Machida is a beast. Shogun is a beast. Gotta take Machida in this one though.

Hopefully Kimbo's knee can hold up. I am curious to see how he looks after training with legit trainers now.......To be honest, I would really like to see Meathead and Kimbo just exchange bombs back and forth until someones jaw winds up in the front row.

That would be sweet lol......Kimbo could def. knock the guys jaw into the first row but would have to do it before he gased 45 secs in the 1st round.

How long has it been since "The Ultimate Fighter" Finale? A year or so?

You don't think that he has worked on his cardio since then? I mean after all, he has legit coaches now.....no longer does he have a worthless coach like Rampage or his boys from the hood in his corner.

I am guessing both guys have been coached up a bit and should make a pretty interesting fight. I could be wrong though. Maybe they just both show up fat and lean on each other for 3 rounds......

Well he did go the full 3 rounds with Houston Alexander, but they both looked like you could have blown them over.

His ground game looked nicely improved in that fight just he couldnt breathe....If he did get his cardio up, he might be something to watch out for...

I think he smokes alot of weed tho.....cant help your cardio.

Yeah that was a sad site to see, the combined age for that fight was like 263 years or something. That is the one thing that will hurt him is his age, I think.......he's no Randy Couture or Hendo

Plenty of elite athletes blaze up......I don't think it affects their cardio that badly.

Machida is going to win... He will be prepared and ready for Shogun's kicks.

Koshchek is going to choke out Daley

Kimbo is going to KO Meat head... That fight is going to win KO of the night

Guess I'm the only one that thought the OP was talking about Bruce "last Dragon" LeRoy and Sho'Nuff "the Shogun of Harlem".

    Their last fight was amazing!

This is a card where all fights could go either way. I like both Machida and Shogun, just want to see a fight worthy of a championship bout.

I think Daley Knocks out Koscheck, but again Koschek's wrestling could control the fight if he goes that route.

For all of you taking Kimbo, it could just as easily be a knockout by Meathead, he has very heavy hands. Could be decided by who has the best chin and cardio.

Mitrione's cardio in his first fight on TUF was about the worst I've seen. There were times I think he was too tired to fall down and that's the only thing that saved him. That Kimbo/Alexander fight was so odd. I've never seen Alexander so passive in a fight. Makes me almost thing somebody told him to lose... not sayin' anything.... just sayin'...

I'm pulling for Machida, but that fight could go either way.
