Players look better on winning teams simply because they're WINNING. If we were up by 10 when Brooks chokes a free throw, who cares? It's only with mediocre teams where you need clutch performance to win. With top teams, you beat the crap out of your opponent for the entire game.

Yet, despite all their "greatness", they were just 42-40.

The Lakers was leading the WC with that squad before they traded for Gasol. Your point? I know they do not play hard every game but you need talent to win in the playoffs. The Lakers have immense talent.
