windandsea - excellent, you bring us information we can't get anywhere else. I hope it works out and we can draft Ming. (I think?!?)

He mentioned that he liked to play NBA LIVE 2000 in a dairy. As a best computer game player in China, I think he has upgraded it to NBA LIVE 2002.

    Gee I love that quote...

    "02/24/2002
Look at those big guys at NBA draft. I am the best. Both Kwame Brown and the last pick of NBA draft last year should treat me. If I was there, Brown will not be the first pick and the last pick will not exist. I know J Williams is good in this year¡¯s draft. I have told to an American reporter: ¡° R Smith? I can do everything he can do and everything he cannot do.¡"

Ming seems like a tremendously likable guy. I thoroughly enjoyed reading these diary clips. He will be easy to root for.

oh yeah, do you guys actually play Live 2002? I thought all copies of that game had already been returned! You should know by now that 2K2 wins in every department ...

As delighted as I am to hear about his enthusiasm, confidence and humor, I am questioning whether the quips are self-generated or whether everything is planned and strategically written by Chinese officials with their ultimate goal of having him chosen first in the NBA Draft.

China doesn't see its people as individuals, but more as to how they can help the collective whole.

I have extensive business experience with Chinese Governmental Corporations and their manipulatory manner and ideology and this just makes me weary about dealing with them when it comes to my beloved rockets.
